Beat gas prices

I was watching the news the other night and they did a report about this website. MyGallons.com

Basically its a membership program where you pre-buy gas in gallons in your zip code online. Then when you go to the pump, no matter how high gas prices go, you can redeem your gallons with this card. (i.e. you buy 15 gallons at $4.00...next time you fill up your car with 10 gallons at $4.50 you just swipe the card and it deducts the 10 gallons from your account. You save $0.50 a gallon!)

Pretty crazy. I'm thinking about getting one and buying like 20 gallons and using it months later when gas prices get even worse. I think their is even a safety thing if the price per gallon goes down from what you originally bought it for, they actually credit your account with gallons. I still need to read the FAQ a bit more. But check it out!

Great - Now every guy that is trying to save a buck is going to jack up gas prices for everyone by increasing demand.

No one else has any comment on this? I'm sure you all drive. Do you think this would be a coinvience? I'm curious on others thoughts.
