BCseedKing.com Review

For those of you searching for a trustworthy seed bank, I have reviewed NirvanaShop.com in another thread and would like to review BCseedKing.com in this thread.

After reading multiple good reviews on several websites about BCseedKing.com, I decided to give them a try and I'm happy I did. Although their selection of strains is limited, the strains they have are very famous, good quality, and very good price compared to other seed banks. They also send extra seeds with each order.

One other thing is they have limited payment methods: cash, money order, or international money order for those outside of Canada. While I dislike the payment methods, these guys can be trusted - I used them twice and both times were good. Make sure you read their FAQ or contact them if you have any questions. I got both my orders in under 2 weeks and their customer service is great - if you ask them something, they will most likely reply within a few hours.

Based on their website, they ship worldwide from British Colombia (hence "BC" in their website name) and they ship discreetly. Now, to be honest, I don't know how good their discreet shipping is because I personally don't need any discreet shipping when I order - so the beans I received were in a very basic package.

There you have it folks! I hope you and others will take the time out as I have to write a good review for those seed banks that deserve it. It's good for them and good for us. Peace =)

@Akghostbuds420 - I got Aurora Indica from Nirvana, so I can't really compare it to BC Big Bud since they are different strain. Comparing their genetics would be like comparing apples to oranges. So, all I can say is that they are both of good quality.

I noticed you also replied to my Nirvanashop.com review but you never mentioned whether you ordered from them or from BCseedKing.com yourself. Where have you ordered from and how good are their strains?

Ive never ordered from bcseedking or Nirvana. Ive ordered from Old School Breeders association and BCBD. So far both companies gear are what they say they are. I haven't harvested yet so I can't say for sure, but they smell good!

@Akghostbuds420 - Could you give us (Roll-It-Uppers) the exact website address for both those companies you ordered from? There are so many scamming websites that simply copy all the content from the original website and change the ending from ".com" to something like ".net" (or the other way around). That's the reason I wrote the entire website address in the thread title... those who are interesting won't click on the wrong website by accident. It would be nice to have a list of all the honest websites but I have yet to find a list like that.

Well to be honest I ordered before I had any knowledge of seedbanks. So I doubt they a very trustworthy, but it appears so far that I received genuine genetics. I seen ads in hightimes and the first page is BCBD(www.bcbuddepot.com), and the last OSBA(www.OldSchoolBA.com) I ordered over the phone using my debit card, so I don't know about their websites. As for a list all I can give is my opinion on them even it's only what I've read from this and other cannabis forums.

Good Rep from what I understand
Sensi
**Mr.Nice**
BCSeedKing
Ace
Cannobiogen
Dinafem
DNA

Good but not as good
Flying Dutchman
Nirvana
Dutch Passion
Seedsman
Spliff

I know there are more i just can't think of them.

As I said in my first post, their selection is limited and I noticed that their selection has went more into feminized seed rather than regular since the last time I went on their website. For instance, BC Big Bud strain used to be sold as regular - now they sell this strain only as feminized. Like most seed banks, they clearly prefer when people order feminized because those seeds are more expensive and you cannot create your own beans with fems (not in the traditional method anyway).

I think their selection is deteriorating mostly because their website is falling under the radar of most folks here or any other website similar to Roll-it-Up. These guys deserve more attention because their prices are truly great in comparison to other websites and their genes are good too. It would be sad if their site closes or if they have everything as "out of stock" all the time. It wasn't like that before at BCseedKings.com - I hope they improve

i think they just cant keep up with the demand

You could be right, but the reason I think otherwise is because their website is often unheard of... when I read about seed banks, people usually discuss websites like Attitude, Barney's Farm, Nirvana and a maybe a couple other ones. BCseedKing is rarely mentioned - that's why I thought it a good idea to bring this website to RIU's attention

First I got the indoor mix which is cheap and comes with 20 beans + extras. Then I decided to get a specific strain - BC Big Bud.
I found this thread doing a search for BC Seedking. I read your comment and felt compelled to reply. I bought the femenized mix that came with 20 beans, namely, Super Silver Haze, God Bud, OG Kush and BC Big Bud. I grew them all out and now I'm going back for more.....BC Big Bud!!! I was a bit hesitant buying from them at first but sent my money in anyway. Got the seeds pronto and ended up throwing them outdoors in my garden last summer. I'm in BC, Canada. I started them in April and threw them outdoors May 24 on the long weekend.

I planted 6 seeds. I ended up with 3 God Bud, 1 SSH, 1 BC Big Bud and 1 OG Kush. By the end of August some were approaching 9' tall and 5-6' in diameter. The plant I enjoyed most, the one I smelled before I even got to the greenhouse and the one I fell in love with was the BC Big Bud. She smelled beautiful and strong, so fruity. Huge buds and excellent growth in all stages. To be honest, all 6 plants grew with no problems. The OG Kush kept growing into late October and still needed more time. I harvested some early and just left the rest out of sheer laziness. After harvesting the 5 other plants I didn't want to look at anymore scissors. Really cool plant the OG Kush was. Had golf ball buds everywhere.

The God Bud was the real star in the beauty department. I'll post some pics but her pistils turned bright pink and it was amazing to look at, great smoke too. Anyway, before I post some pics I'd also like to say BC Seedking is not the greatest looking website you'll ever visit but they have great product and they are reliable and that's all I really care about. I'll be putting in an order for more BC Big Bud and probably one other strain, maybe The Purps or Grand Daddy Purple but there are other awesome strains to try. Green Crack is a great outdoor strain for the northern hemisphere as it flowers quick. Anyway, here are the pics...that's my el-cheapo greenhouse made from some 2" x 8"s and 2" x 4"s along with 1" round 10' plastic tubing that meet up top. The tent is 10' tall in the center to give an idea of the plants height. The one photo is from the back side and shows how close together the plants were. I lost alot of yield because they were too close together. This year I will be filling those 15' x 5' raised beds with one plant for every 5' x 5' section of soil, or 3 plants in each bed. We live and learn :)
That's the BC Big Bud on the left with a SSH and God Bud behind it. On the right are 2 God Bud and the OG Kush back right.

No filters in the pics, just super pink pistils. I'm growing the same BC Big Bud this year and also the Juicy Fruit in the same greenhouse as the pics but this year I gave each plant a 5'x5' space. I ended up needing to raise the entire greenhouse by over 2 feet because each plant is about 10'-12' high and 6'-8' wide. It's pretty bizarre walking into the greenhouse because the tops of plants are twice as high as me and I have no way of checking on them without using a ladder. Not worried about it though I can check on the lower buds although they aren't big yet...still stacking up nicely.

Saw the BC Seedking name in here and figured I should comment on my recent grow from their seeds. I have 1 Tuna Kush and 3 God Bud plants outside, the TK is about 4-5 weeks into flower and the GB is about 3 weeks.

The Tuna Kush grew tall fast with thick, rigid purple stems. Started in April and over 7 feet from the ground currently, topped it once and it turned into 4 main branches. Hard to train, I split the stalk several times tying branches down but it never skipped a beat. It currently has a ton of bud on it and it STINKS. The entire backyard smells like some serious dank, and it is insanely sticky to touch.

The God Bud are goddamn bushes, ive probably stripped a grocery bag worth of gigantic fan leaves and interior growth off these plants a dozen times at least. The vegetation was choking out the interior bad so it has been a chore keeping them tidy (a good chore). Funnily enough it barely has a smell, has a bit of a fresh, citrusy smell after touching it but nothing overpowering. They seemed to like being topped, and easy to train with LST. Starting to get some nice looking buds all over, Ill post a few more pics later into flower.

All in all super happy with them (BCSK), fast delivery and they were more than willing to field the questions I had via email. Definitely will get my next batch from them!

Cheers
