BBQ Gathering of Rocky Mtn growers

Wanted to see if we had enough summit and eagle county and surrounding countys that would be interested in maybe doing a good ol bbq at lake dillion and smoke some bomb herb and maybe do some genetic trading. Wanted to see if we had enough folks to plan something maybe early september or something.

I'd be down...don't know what I'll have for show and tell (I run things MUCH lighter during the summer than the winter due to heat)... on another note a Mtn bbq sometime this winter would be awesome as well.

cool so we got one person down and a few likes..... i think the winter would be sweet to set up a ski and ride day. I can get lift tickets to copper for $50 a day

Sounds cool. I would be down to make the trip from Eagle. It's a nice ride from the house. A little notice would be great. I usually have some some nice cuts available that I am always down to trade

I will should have maybe 5-10 different cuts available and I may need a tester to run a few un sexed cuts if anybody is interested. Pm me if interested in testing some cuts even if we don't catch up at the BBQ

I'm on the front range but I like meeting new people and I have good friends all over the state. If y'all are okay with the odd flatlander, it would be fun to say hello sometime!

Same here. Got the potoberfest in october near denver. Did a bbq in june. Be nice to meet some of the peeps with their heads in the clouds. Just got back from the bong a thon in southpark. elevation is between 10 and 11K feet. Hope I can make the trip.

i don't know. we all should come up with a good Sat or Sun that works for most of us. I was thinking some time at the beginning of september. We won't have the crazy amount of tourist everywhere. Another idea but would probably cost us each $40 buck is we could rent a pontoon boat and get a bunch of us on there and hit the lake for the day and do some major smoking and chill in

From doing these before someone nice enough to have at their house in the clouds or a friendly resturant to chill in works best. A park is ok but have to make sure smoking is allowed. Pootoon boat is hard if it rains or is cold/ windy that day. Also if people show up later then boat pushes off. Most are not on time. Stoner/colorado time. lol

I'm down in Pueblo but 2.5 hours up 9 hwy and I'm in Breck, so not undoable drive wise.

When and where? All depends on scheduling and location (not public as that always ends up lame)

I'm always up for dabs and some clone swapping with cool ppl.

I'm on the front range and down to meet up too depending on when.

i think doing a pontoon boat and setting a hour buffer to arrive should work out for everyone and we can always have a phone number and stay close to that dock, and if it starts to rain we can have a back up plan to either bbq outside or we go to the dam brewery and wait off the rain. The nice thing about the boat is we can get off shore and smoke as much as we want and chill and drink beer. Im a little hesitant to have a bunch of people at my home so i would rather go this route.

This route could be so cheap even if only 12 of us come its $33 bucks to be on the lake for 4hrs grilling, smoking and drinking.

I think we could all met at dillion dam brewery from 12pm till 115pm leave a good time frame for people to arrive then we get the boat and rent it from 130pm till 530pm

So is ranger rick going to troll up and bust us for smoking in public and operating a boat while intoxicated?

The pontoon idea sounds great and all. I would totally be down but not to sound like a Debbie downer I think it's prob not a good idea for a group of people like us to put our selves out there so to speak. I agree with Snaps that ranger rick could be a dick and fuck with us all. We all have a lot to lose. I like the idea but.. I would still be down to meet at the brewery and meet whoever shows up
