I've never made a strain review, but I think this one has been passed over and shouldn't.

Name: Bay 11
Breeder: Ken's Grand Daddy - Breeder Link
80% / 20% Sativa Dom
The flavor and scent are completely different from anything I've experienced before. Very pleasant in both areas. Not fruity, not skunky, not earthy, but if you walk into a room where its burning you can pick it out of a crowd.
Buzz is very heady, no drooling or couch lock.
Yield is not amazing,,, average at best, but very impressive, in both buzz and bag appeal.
Didn't hit the 3oz mark on any of the girls from seed.
Very dense for a Sativa, heavy trichromes in the bud, but not alot showing out on the leaf.
10 pack of seeds picked up at the very first Cannabis Cup held in CO. 8 female 2 male (2 distinct phenos, only 1 of the 8 girls went this way, so I'd have to say it is pretty stable.

Grown under 2 - 400W CMH bulbs, In mixed coco (mulch & coir 50/50) 2 gal hempy buckets, built with a blend of Osmocote Plus & Osmocote 14-14-14, & a little PK boost.

Photos starting with chop day (only one plant complete), hanging shots, final bud shots are from today, with more than a 6 month cure. I'm giving it a 2 thumbs up.

That's not long for a sativa dom strain.how long did you veg?
I was amazed also to find a quality sativa that finished in under 10wks.
From seed to flip it was 8wks, they were topped twice during this period. Also I veg under T8's 128w total, it slows the veg which is good for my set-up.

Very nice grow. Congratulations! Seems like Ken's bean's worked really well for you. Good luck with your F2's.

I've grown both Bay 11 and Bay Dream from Ken. Bay 11 is very good, but Bay Dream has produced a real keeper. I've germed a few more Bay Dreams and looks like I have one big boy -- my plan is to pollenate my best Bay 11 (clone) with Bay Daream pollen and see what happens...

My friend grew out one (started several) of the F2's outdoors this season and found a purple pheno. He's a seasoned grower and the Bay 11 is the champ in the garden. Here's a photo he sent me last weekend. The Bay 11 is the 8' purple one in the center.

I went and visited yesterday, and coaxed him out of the end of an arm in the middle of the girl. The top main cola is close to 3' and near 6" thick near the base. Here's a couple of shots of the gifted bud.

It's going to be hard to wait a couple of months to taste, but I know cured it will be better.
I just planted 6 of the fems for the next run, hope to find the prup.

I have grown several rounds of this indoors under a 600 watt. Even vegging for just 28 days still found it to be a very high yield. You could always pick her out of the others in the room. Much fuller and heavier. Everyone loved it. Will be doing a round of this under some 1000 watters in about 4 months.

I've got two freebees of these that are on the 'must pop' list. A Phantom Cookies about 5 days from chop looks outrageous.
