Batteries Q

Like many of you I'm using BlueLabs pens and other devices that are powered by batteries. Batteries aren't easily removed from the BlueLabs stuff.

You know how it is. Sometimes you'll put something away and unknowingly that's the last time you touch it for years.

I'm not going to be growing for awhile and the Q is, should the batteries be removed from everything before putting away?

Yes always remove batteries from any electronic device before storage.

And another thing that makes me furious! Does this infuriate you?

I'm putting away the the PH pen, low and behold the storage solution container has corrosion on the outside. This bottle is still new from the factory and was never opened.

I'm just living my life and getting sabotaged.

Back there I bought Avid, Forbid /mites and Eagle 20 /fungicide. I may need Avid, Forbid again but don't expect to need Eagle 20 again.

Is this stuff savable or does it go bad as the years roll on? It's kind of expensive and don't want to waste the liquids but it may leak/permeate the container like the storage solution.

this same thing happened to me. it looks like if the storage solution touches air it crystallizes. Mine got like this on the outside but the inside seemed fine. I wonder if there is a cheaper alternative because that is a pretty expensive bottle

That's not corrosion. It is salt. A bit leaks, the water evaporates and the potassium chloride stays behind.

Now you got me started on the manufacturing processes that don't fully close the bottles or the QC person who let's it all slide by. Maybe there should be a sticker on the container, "tighten cap upon arrival".

It's like buying a Boeing and the doors fall off mid flight. What's happening?

Their ph pen is overpriced as well. I bought this years ago, 3-4 times cheaper than Bluelab.
