BASS Fishing! What's your favourite bait/lure?

I've caught more fish using those lures then anything else I've tried. To include my biggest catches. Top water spinner in the early morning would be my second luckiest. Otherwise, it's a simple Mr Twister grub.
There's no doubt that the Mr Twister works well. You can swim it or jig it. It doesn't matter how you retrieve it, they'll go after it!

I like to river fish, it's relaxing and there's lots of giant fish I can catch with little to no effort. I won't eat anything out of the river....but il reel em up and talk shit to em before I toss em back.....when I'm looking for some dinner fish...one of our cattle ranches is rite on the bank of a lake ....big ass stripers in it....lots of pan fish as well....even there it's just using worms with a bobber or letting em sit on the bottom.

But my favorite is going out of Monterey Ca for salmon each year.

I used to love river fishing but I can't handle the mosquitoes or deer flies anymore!

PUSSY!

LOL....Sorry I couldn't resist....I fucking hate Mosquitos with a passion....Il go to the river/delta super early and stay until the drugs are gone or it gets to hot....night time is for the Mosquitos and homicides in my secret river fishing spot.
Mosquitoes never hurt anyone... :dunce:

grow some fresh catnip and lemon thyme, take the fresh, not dried, plant material and whip it in a ninja blender with melted coconut oil, the more leaf the better, if you don't have a ninja make it like you would make canna oil in a crock pot. Rub it all over, the oil sticks to your skin mosquitoes will not land on it, i call it my skeeter earl

Why don't you mix it all in rubbing alcohol? As long as you're not smoking a big ole blunt with a huge cherry. You shouldn't catch fire until it evaps. Lol

that was skeeter earl 1.0, sans earl lol it doesn't last very long that way, i was reapplying a lot. The oil base i can put on in the am and again in the afternoon and it works all day, it also makes it more water resistant

bass for bait? around here you would end up in jail if you tried that. for catfish we use chunks of Irish spring soap or chicken livers. sometimes bread but with bread you catch alot of carp.
That's a Flathead, they won't eat stink/dough baits. that's a buddy of mine( he's 275lb) that flattie ate a 8" bullhead.i generally use bullheads and bluegills, tried a couple 10-12" bass years ago but they die to fast...

I do not throw soft plastics. Never have, never will. Other than the 8" swim baits I throw.

Bill Dance Fat Free Shad
1/2 ounce double willow leaf spinner baits
Pig-n-Jig
Buzz bait
