I've read one of those posts also on another board. It could just be one batch of bad seeds, no way to tell until you grow some yourself. I've got one of the Sweet Tooth Autos that's about 2 1/2 weeks old, so I should find out on mine in another couple of weeks I guess. I germinated two, and only one made it, but it's a realloy strong grower and looks like it'll be a pretty good sized plant. Either way, auto or not, I think I should get a decent amount of bud from it.

Yea I feel you I germed 3 two made it:( I was hoping for a nice lil triangle canopy lol so any updates on hrs mines two week about..??

Well, doesn't look like mine's going to auto. It's been about 4 weeks and I think I should be seeing something by now. I switched to 12/12 with the lighting, so we'll see how that goes.

im growin an auto sweet tooth right now, day 12 and its growing 3rd and 4th leaves. Doesn't look like its going into auto mode, but I just transplanted her from a small pot into its final pot and I saw the tap root almost curling around the container. If I would recommend from just that alone, maybe your not using an adequate sized pot? Autos roots grow deep so deep pots work best (just from doing research).

Im growing auto#1 and Berry Ryder automatic beside it and from comparison, the sweet tooth looks like it's a week behind, so maybe it takes longer than the rest, say 10 weeks instead of 8 or 9.

Sry just saw that your doing 12/12 with the light? I've been researching the hell out of growing autos and best lighting is 20/4 - 18/6 or more light the better. Personally I'm going to 20/4. Then 18/6 for the last week or two, depending on how happy my girls look. I've also read people's grow journal that keep their lights on for 24 hours. The less light, the less amount of yeild.

^^ if its a semi auto or has unstable genetics and does not flower on its own flowering does need to be induced by a 12/12 cycle. But 18/6 and 20/4 are good cycles for plants that do reliably flower on their own.

I am growing a BF Sweet Tooth and have a wierd thing happening. I vegged for 5 weeks 24/0. The Sweet Tooth had already started flowering before I switched to 12/12. It isn't even 6 weeks and there are already more than 50% orange hairs and trichs are half and half milky/clear. It grew tall (75cm) but the bud is sparse. I think it will be finished at 6 weeks or a few days more but WTF?? This plant is supposed to take 65 - 75 days in flower. This is my 5th grow so I am not a complete noob but still I think this is bizarre. BTW - I'm also growing a Bubblegummer and it is acting perfectly normal - at 6 weeks it only just started showing coloration in the hairs and is getting fat. Growing under 250 HPS with lots of CFL side lighting, Roots Organic Soil and Technaflora nutes.

I got one as a freebie, it germinated but then failed to sprout. I used the same soil and setup as with my acupulco gold fem and critical kush fem but no go. I chalked it up to being a freebie seeing as that is one of four in all and they all did the same thing. I do appreciate the lesson from it though, I know which seeds not to buy!

I've got 4 barneys farm auto sweettooth in 6 l pots under a 250hps on an 18/6 they started flowering by themselves in week 4 or 5 and are coming on a treat. There range from about 30 to 50cm's in height with fat fan leaves. nice side branching and white hairs everywhere and i'm comin up for week 7 . So about week 2 in flower.

So from everything I've seen and read, i think they do auto they just take there time about it, going through veg for slightly longer than your average auto, then comes the 8 week flower and with the advertised potential yield being up to 200g in ideal conditions, it makes sense that she would need more time to veg to be able to support that kinda flowering.

good luck and patience is the key

sweet tooth auto under 24/0 shows preflowers at day 20-40 depending on pheno some take a sativa stance but even after preflowers you still have a week or two of veg goin on first ,then pause button and switch to flower and stretch and fill. i hate seeing posts like this when ive had no problems with it Barneys gets a bad rep and ive had no more problems with any of there strains then i have any other breeders

I am a first time grower and am growing berry ryder, sweet tooth, ultra lemon haze, polar express, and bubblelicious. I would like to report that my sweet tooth was the first to flower automatically and I had no problems out of her. I am growing with 300 actual watts of cfl 6500k and 2700k on 18/6. Ocean Forest Soil, using Foxfarm Nutes. Sweet Tooth is in a 2.5g pot and is flowering with a lot of white little hairs at day 36. She is about 15inches tall.
