Strain: Night Shade

Company: Barney's Farm

Indica/Sativa: INDICA (Kashmir x Nepali)

Vegetative period: 4 weeks

Flowering period (longest plant I ever had): 13 weeks (91 days from the first gender signs, NOT from the moment when I put it to 12/12 photo period)and I think that it needed few days more.

Fertilization: 4 weeks in vegetative and 2 weeks in flowering stage. PH ~ 6.2 - 6.6, EC ~ 0.8 - 1.8

Flowering Light: 250W HPS

Ventilation (my biggest mistake) – I didn’t have exhaust fan. I just had vent to mix air in grow room and passive intake. Due to high temperature outside about 104ºF or 40ºC, the same temperature was in grow room 104ºF.

The plat was really great and healthy despite high temperature, but because of high temperature the buds were fluffy, fluffy really fluffy.

Again, because of high temperature it dried very fast, so the smell become just as dried mown grass. In curring jar when you open it, the smell is really strong and heavily sweet. When you grind it, it smells like diesel fuel with some kind of mothballs notes.

Smoke was very smooth.

High: I rolled pure joint (without Tobacco) and I did just 3 hits for testing purpose. It starts immediately but very slow and after 15 minutes you feel very relaxed, comfortable and lazy. If you try to learn, you will fall into the infinite loop of reading one sentence again and again until you finally get that you understood sentence as you wanted. That could last forever J. But with the think I was really surprised is creativity effect. Creativity effect was brilliant and it was on very, very high level. Maybe it was because I took just 3 hits, I don’t know. The high lasted for 2-2.5 hours.

Positive – very, very good creativity high effect

Negative – long, long, long… flowering period – more than 13 weeks.

Overall – very, very good weed. If you have time to wait it more than 13 weeks you can do so, but if you ask me, I would definitely not grow it again just because of that long flowering period.
