bareroots transplant?

ok so i have two plants outside, about 8-12". They were out there to be quarantined and they appear to be spider mite free. They however have been growing outside for a few months and i want to now bring them inside, but i worry that the soil maybe contaminated with outdoor pests, and other contaminants. I would like to transplant them into new soil and new pots, can i do a bare root transplant? or will that be too much of a shock at this age? They are destined to be mothers, so would this be a big stresser? could i just flush them alot?

thanks for the help

8-12 inches is perfect for transplanting. Put them in a 3-5 gallon container with some Fox Farm Ocean Forest. Keep them in the dark after transplant for 12-24 hrs

What I would do is flush the plants then the next day transplant, or not even worry about it (flush). Your not going to pick up any root bug outside. You want your roots to stay intact and bunched up when you transplant. If there wet they will be stringy.
