This (imo) depends on your grow experience, if a nooby avoid, as you don't know really what you are gonna get?

gets some seeds from Herbies/etc, grow them out as your first grow, then later grow out the bagseeds, and compare ...easy!

yeah thanks, not a total noob thou.
why do you think it depends on experience? i mean it could be that the dealer had hermie genetics, not? i have good seeds from good banks, but the bagseed was a strain you can't find at seedbanks too often.

Knock yourself out..if you are up to it ...do it! after all.... to growers herms are useless to breeders thats something to use?

With all the time and expense involved when considering everything else but seeds, why fuck around with a possible loss? Humor me. I'm an old Marine and retired RN and like to hear other people's views on some of these things. Toss those damned things in a garbage disposal.

IMO the chances are the seeds were harvested before they reached maturity. With seeds so cheap and freely available, why take the chance?

How is this in the advanced cultivation section?
Bag seed can carry hermi traits because after all, you found seeds in your bag, so whats to say it wasnt bred by a herm. It isnt a norm but ive seen it a few times. Cant you buy like a couple seeds online for like 15 bucks?
so where to find cranberry kush seeds?

The chances of the genetics being good or stable are slim. Definitely invest in some seeds from a professional seed bank. Even if you happen to get a good one you'll only be able to clone it for a year and then the strain will be lost. If you buy professional seeds you'll be able to identify the strain and grow it again if you find a good one.

I have two bagseeds going now, flowering nicely so far, along with the good beans and I check them daily. I'm hoping for the best, but prepared to sacrifice them if necessary. IMHO, if you grow bagseeds, have good back up strains for just in case so your work isn't completely wasted.

OG came from bag-seed...Do we need to start a list?...so many distortions of what can actually happen.

Is it a reverse? Probably....does it mean its worthless, hardly? Reversed strains have no more chance of becoming reversed than a regular male/female line......bad info repeatedly says otherwise..but genetically these types of traits are survival instincts in the genome of ALL plants..some are expressed some aren't, the potential exists in ALL plants, again. Thanks.

many strains are reverses of reverses...don't be fooled by all the horseshit.

Nothing beats the experience gained from growing out, cloning, harvesting, curing and making plant selection with bag seed. There are good cheap breeders but bag seed is always around and free.

If you do run bag seed though I would run it by itself because it can herm like you have never seen a plant herm. Those same seed can also have a killer pheno that's stable and couldn't be found any other way... :) just a roll of the dice..
