I am bout a month and a half into growing using cfl's. Ive been using four 42 watters and a 23 watter. All 2700k. My plants are still very small but my friends are huge, and he is using less lights!!! We both have 4 plants and i wanna know if the seeds i used might be the problem. Any comments would be appreciated.

try switching your cfl's to a higher K..like 6500k..usually called "daylight" more blue spectrum for the veg stage..those 2700k are used mostly for flowering. although ive read some people on here doing a little of both..def get some 6500k cfl's..i just started my first grow and once i got a few of those 6500k my ladies took off..a month and a half in? how long do you plan on vegging those babies?

yeah bro you need stronger lights, esp. if ur keepin em so close and not seeing any results.
if u check the forums esp the grow logs, most ppl are growing with at least 450w. do u see any nute deficiencies, could also lead to stunted growth.
