Bad Heat problems

hi I've got a grow room with bad heat temps Its 6 ft 3" long by 3ft 9" wide and 8 ft tall with 2 x 400 w hps light and 2 x 6" extractors for intake and outtake and 2 x 6 inch clip on oscillating fans it's at 38 degrees and 10% humidity way too hot i even went and bought a humidifier and put it in the room the grow room is in kept the door shut and the humidifier says 40% it's only been in for 4 hours 15 mins and I had 2 x 4" extractors before and the temps was a little less Which don't make sense dunno what to do now

Howdy. Do you have closed hoods with fan cooling? That helps a ton plus running the lights opposite the outside sun. Run your lights at night and dark during the heat of the day. Other than that plus some really good air flow I think the only other option would be AC. 38C is like 100F. That's too hot for sure

One more thing - does the humidifier throw heat as well??

Wow that is hot! Maybe if you stagger your lights and humidifier it would help you out. Have one light turn off every hour for about 15 minutes and run your humidifier when the lights are out. Just a suggestion. My veg room gets hot and I have found that having some of the lights go out a few dimes a cycle helps.

Your really gonna have to use your imaginations now lol Could it be that my carbon filter is about a ft from the ceiling then running ducting from that to the 6"extractor about a ft from the floor then more ducting from the extractor across the floor about 5 .7 ft and round the back about another 3 .4 ft then out into the room through the side about 1.2 ft off the floor then another 6" extractor for intake which is basically right at the side coming out the side about 1 ft off the floor basically right under the outtake extractor

you need to introduce airflow to the grow room ,you basically have a 600 watt heater in your room .

Exhaust needs to go out the top of the cab or as high as possible. Intake needs to be low as possible.

Intake fan speed needs to be lower than exhaust to create a negative pressure in the cab to contain the smell. Or a passive intake that is about 3-4 x the size of the exhaust also works well.

In a cabinet that size I would also likely want 3 clip fans or 4 to blow in between the lamps and canopy to blow the heat away from the plants and heat rises so it will create a rising vortex to easily be extracted up top of you get the clip fans to work right.

I actually exhaust my room through the floor at the end of my lamps to go to the basement chimney vent. But the carbon filter is above the lights to pull the heat from the ceiling where it collects and builds up.

I use a 2 6" fans to help get the exhaust down the duct through the floor and across a 20' span to the chimney.

I use good smooth straight duct runs and in summer a 4" fan for intake to bring air conditioned air from the lung room next door.

I hope this helps a little. Maybe look at tent or cab set up videos and articles for ideas.

It's a learning curve. I like to set up and test a room before plants go in. There are always issues at first.

The exhaust also likely needs to exit the room the cab is in to avoid re circulating depleted hot air.

Buy an air conditioner.
