Backyard Greenhouse Idea - Step-by-step pictures

Hello friends,

One member said to me that is the place to post my own greenhouse building idea.

I built this 15' x 25' greenhosue from recycled material... useful to grow anything

can someone explain to me the benefit of a design like this as opposed to a pvc greenhouse elevated and anchored by a wooden support frame?

Is that where you got the idea from, mother earth news? What would I google to try to find something similar? I love the idea!

More insulated, more secure, will hold up and last longer, i'm sure there's plenty more benefits. If you got the money & plan on growing more long term, I think this would be the way to go! If not, hoop houses still work great and are quick to build.

PVC hoops cause premature degradation of greenhouse plastics.

Lots of recycled stuff on my greenhouse. Old solar panel covers, old skylight, old windows pulled off the road, etc.

Some interior shots. The pile of rocks is a water feature that flows from the top down to under the floor. 3 levels to my gh as it is built on a hill slope. Just doing a cover crop this year to enhance soil, no mj.
