Back pain cure without the high?

My father suffers from arthritis in his back. He was just diagnosed. I guess its pretty bad. He DOES NOT like the feeling of the high you get from marijuana. Is there something he can take that doesn't give him a high but provides pain relief from arthritis?

Try some brownies, or cookies... Start with a very small piece... work up slowly, until your dad can feel relief, with out too much highness...

Put your dad in a quiet calm place to share the "Hi" with... where after he hits it, all he has to do is feel the relief....

cbd weed , there is weed that has no psychical high at all, just pure pain relief

Indica strains are highest in cbds. You can also put some weed out in the sun for a week so the time + heat + light degrades the thc to cbn which is a great pain reliever with a relatively low high. You may need a light cloth over the bud, I really don't know if light can further degrade cbn.
