back in the game! 1st grow in years

hey all!!! im a newbie on the site for posting but i have been reading posts from the shadows for years. Due to a legal set back i had to end my indoor activites but thanks to a good laywer and a perscription im back in action.
Starting the journal a little late but better late than never. My set up is a 7x7 tent with 2 1000w HPS in air cooled hoods. i have a 400 cfm fan ducted to the hoods to cool the lights ( turned down of course ). Using a 750 cfm inline fan sucking thru a mountain air 6x24 filter, controlled by a fan speed controller. After a few days i got everything dialed in at 60% RH at a temp of 72 degress lights on and around 68 degrees lights out and humidity stays about the same. Lights are currently running at 50% or 500w each. Im growing 6 plants, 4 of an unknown kush variety and 2 of what are supposed to be sour diesel. plants have been vegging for almost 3 weeks and are looking pretty good i think. They are currently in 3gal pots in promix using hydro fuel A+B.
I am shooting for around 1/2 lb per plant because thats around what i used to yield in about the same set up. Gonna post pics when the wife shows me how. Any tips of tricks would b greatly appreciated.

Gonna transplant into 6.5 gallon pots when they come in on wensday then start LST. I FIM'ed a few more time to get more budding sites. Plants are around 20" tall right now. Both are new to me strains so not sure of the stretch in gonna get when the lights are flipped. Any ideas on how tall i should let them get to shoot for 8oz each. My goal may not b possible but i like to shoot for the stars. Hopefully the strain is an ok yielder. Any input would be great, like insaid im a bit rusty and i was far from a pro before

So i wasnt able to transplant into 6.5 gal pots due to availability. Not many places to get that stuff where im at. Did some lst to let more light into the lower section of the plants. Ended up with the main center stock about 8 inches higher than every thing else, i couldnt convince myself to chop it off to keep and even canopy height but i think it will b ok. Each plant has 20-30 top flowering sites and with 2 1000w in a 7x7 tent i dont think haveing the lights a bit higher due to the tall center stock will hurt too much.
They vegged for 5 weeks i just flipped the lights yesterday. I have 1 more 1000w to throw into the mix after the first 4 weeks of flowering.

If anyone has any advice please speak up. Or if they think there is something i should change let me know. Im not really able to post a whole lot but i will try and get at least a weekly up date if there is any interest.

I know everyone is busy with their own grows but u thought there would b more people willing to share thier knowledge? Doesnt seem to b any interest in my little operarion so i guess im gonna shut the journal down and go back to the shadows. No hard feelings tho, good luck with your projects
