Steinernema feltiae, anyone tried using these? Apparently they don't harm plants and i've found some really good feedback scattered over the net!

What you are talking about are predator nematodes and they are very good unless you are using other soil dwelling predators.

Some other predators that are very good against fungus gnats are Hypoaspis Miles. Or flour mites.


They inhabit the top inch of your soil and colonise that area stopping anything that tries to lay eggs.

The trouble with predator nematodes is that you have to make sure that your soil or medium doesnt dry out too much as they move along using the moisture in your medium.
