egg shells contain a fair amount of calcium and epsom salts contain a fair amount of magnesium.

maybe take a look around the web and see if these is anything you can whip up.

your plants look pretty OK though besides the twisting. how is new growth?

the new growth is twisting too. m starting to get concerned it seems like all the plants are doing it. overall they look okay and are growing decently.

Day 37
I moved my fan other fan to hang from the top of the tent. and turned the ballast to 50%. Im hoping that will help it be a little cooler. I still get to 81 almost everyday for a few hours . :( ill get my inline fan next week some time. they have grown well under the MH. I watered again tonight they were pretty dry and i gave them 1/2 strength Jacks 20-20-20 and i got my PH kit too so i PHd to between 6.0 and 6.5. watering is quite the task now and im sure it only gets more eventful as they grow. I plan to go to flower by the new year. Hope i get some females after the stress. *fingers crossed*

81 is fine.

a better grower than myself ( @Cannasutraorganics ) swears by 85, although i am still waiting to see his citation :cuss:

one way to make watering easier is a simple length of PVC. slip one end into the container to be watered and pour slowly through the other end. it'll save your back some stress.

and those home depot containers are slightly transparent, which is not good. easiest fix is to buy a blue lowes bucket and just slip it right over the orange bucket.

plants are looking good, let us know when that new growth straightens out. should be a good crop.

i think i actually need to go to flower soon i only have 41" between my light and top of my buckets. the plants are 11-13" tall over the buckets right now. so if they double that will only leave 15-17 inches from the light. I was also thinking that i dont wanna invest a bunch of time with these bagseeds that have been stressed and might be a bunch of males. I wanna get my seeds i bought in the soil and i will have the inline fan to control temps. anybody have any input on if this is a bad idea at this point?

I got my veg area set up its 3.5 ft x 2ft and 5.5 ft tall. I plan on germinating my seeds and starting in there asap. I am going to go 12/12 starting tomorrow. I have my tent ready to just attach the filter and fan, the delivery is estimated tuesday so not too much longer :)

Day 1 of 12/12. They are looking good besides the twisted up leaves. It looks like i will have my fan+filter and calmag tomorrow when i get off work. I should be able to set up the fan and get that area a little cooler. It got to 82 today with the HPS in there. I wont need to water probably until wed or thursday atleast but i will add the cal mag at that time.
heres a couple pics

this was the stem that got very purple. it is green again :)

Day 40 - day 2 of 12/12
I got my inline fan and filter. I got it setup and the hood is soooo much cooler. I wasn't able to touch it before but now its cool. I germinated all the seeds i bought and 11 more from bagseeds I had. Out of 21 i got 19 to germ but I left them for 48 hours because at 24 they were barely crackin but they took off. I got 10/10 on the seeds i bought :)
anyways heres some pics of the room for now. I would like to hang the filter and fan but they are heavier than i expected.

my temps are staying steady at 73 now. the plant that turned purple has turned purple again since yesterday. does this mean i need to start feeding them?

Dude, give them food, usually you can start feeding once the 3rd set of true leaves sprout. Yours are well and truly established so feed away, you'll be surprised how quickly they pick up.

sweet thanks for the reply. I will feed them next time i water. I got another 20 mins until the lights come on, then i can check to see if they are dry enough. I plan to add some cal mag in too
