What's up RIU, I have 4 autos in with my 10 photos and I was planning on veg for 6 maybe 7 weeks then flip.. Shooting for nice size plants.. Question how much will it affect the autos finishing cuz that should b another couple weeks or so? I know cycle doesn't matter but how much if any would it affect yield? Thanks..

Keep all plants in that single grow space on 18/6 and you should be fine
cut the light to 12x12, then
see your autos missing out 6 hours light per day(33% guesstimate)
then you plants will be 33% smaller
or yielding 33% less
better to relocate the autos to their own grow place
or remove the photo to a light dep. closet?

Don't really have seperate space but definitely don't like the thought of losing 30%. Maybe stretch the veg another week or so and cut down on loss but should make up with ones with the long veg?

I honestly think you'll be just fine. You might get slightly reduced yield on the autos but probably nothing crazy. Might even be more potent since light / heat degrades the psychoactive compounds that are in MJ. Another option would be to just run your 18/6 until the autos finish up (veg the photos longer) and then flip after you harvest the autos ...

Yeah, you might suffer slightly smaller yeilds going 12/12 before they finish. BUT, they will finish a lil bit faster.
Is it a worthy trade off?.....
I think so..lol.. I just ran out so I'm buying.. Photos are priority.. Just wanted to try autos just to see.. 7 week veg on photos puts me around end of January ish.. To finish

Well don't base your opinion on autos by "giving them a try " and not growing them to their full potential . I understand the situation you're in . Next time start the autos ahead of time before the photos and then have them finish around the same time you go to flip . Then you can say you gave em a chance good luck though ! .
