my lowryder#2 is 62 days old.
it is 30 inch TALL!!
buds are not very big!!

not sure if it is a lowryder? bought 5 feminised seeds 4 MALES 1 Lady,

What you reckon is it a lowryder??

Well, I cant say whether or not its a lowryder as I havent grown that strain myself. I have seen AF strains get that tall before. For 60+ days though your plants should have MUCH denser buds if they are indeed an AF strain. It almost looks to me like a reg strain would a 60 days. Also, the fact that you got 4 males out of 5 "feminized" seeds says one of 2 things. Either you were lied to, or your growing conditions are not adequate. From my understanding, feminized seeds are only guaranteed to be female if certain requirements are met. Usually this means keeping the plants between a certain temp & humidity range for a certain amount of time. Light spectrum can also play part from what Ive read.

What kind of lights are you using, and if theyre CFLs what is the Kelvin rating? Do you have adequate ventilation? A way to measure temp & humidity?

Man I don't think I'm ever going to order from Sagarmatha again, I ordered a pack of 10 seeds of Bubbleberry, out of 10 seeds I ended up with only 1 seed that germinated, and I tryed different ways to germinate.
This bitch has a story, after being the only seed that germinated, I ended up breakin of by accident the tip of the root of the little seedling. But she didn't die, I managed to keep her alive with alot of care. She didn't grow for a long time, the growth was stunded by the root that broke off, but now she is lookin heathy and the good thing is that she has just show sex 2 days ago, female, YES.
But yeah, I don't think I'm ever goin to order from them again, they didn't even answer back my email I sent them telling them about the problem.

The best results I've found after growing a few autos is:
Start in Fleximix organic root riot starter cubes and a humidity dome, I usually keep my dome on top of my PC, keeps it at a nice temp.

When they sprout, I usually plant them straight into 8Ltr pots filled with Biobizz Organic soil

I usually start feeding after a couple of weeks with Biobizz Organic Veg and a little later I add Biobizz bloom after they show signs of flowering.

When the buds start to form I add TopMax and start a once a week addition of Organic Blackstrap Mollasses to the mix.

Flush around 10days from finish (water and mollasses only)

Lights: 200W CFL envirolite for the first 2 weeks, then a 400W HPS at 20/4 start to finish.

My temps with a cool tube usually stay at around 25C/78F, today's warm outside, so I'm maxing 28C/84F

Here's a shot I took today, of the main cola of one of my Auto AK47's, she's around 2ft tall, very bushy and coated in trichs -

I had a similar problem with my LR2. It looks like a magnesium deficiency, either they are not getting enough magnesium or the PH is out and you have a nute lockout.
Give them a good flush, check your PH levels and apply the correct nutes.

Check out this guide to diagnose plant problems

Good luck 420.
Thanks for the fast reply my friend.
I read that thread, I even posted the same pics there to see if I could get some help, had like 45 views after but no reply. I read the Magnesium deficiency, seems like my problem. I also read the Epson Salt, I going to flush the plants, should I use the Epson Salt in the flush ?? I going to go fill some 5 gal containers with reverse osmosis filtered water.
I never used Espson Salt, don't even know what it's good for, but if it helps im using it. Don't wanna fuck this grow up.

I think it all depends on what your PH levels are. I didn't use epson salts as my problem was due to mixed medium, just gave them a really good flushing with the right PH'd water.

Won't use it then, just a good flush. U said to apply correct nutes after flush, should I apply right after flush or when soil is dries out.

I let mine dry out for a couple of days, she is a thirsty plant anyway and was pretty much running on empty when I added the nutes.

I am quite excited at my first batch of Diesel Ryder AFs. The 2 I am about to harvest were grown for me for the first 30 days so I missed out on all the fun :P

I checked all of my plants over for signs of sex the other night, and didnt see anything. I wasnt looking REALLLY close because I assumed it was a bit early anyhow, but I saw nothing. The next morning I could see balls very clearly on the tops of 4 out of the 6 plants. I picked up the other 2 and sure enough there were about 6-12 white hairs shooting up out of the top. Im a little disappointed at the crappy male to female ratio, so I decided to germinate 4 more Diesel Ryders :)

I repotted the 2 females and tossed the males, giving me lots more room in the cab. I will be posting pics and updating my mini fridge thread in the next day or so for anyone who is interested.

Oh, and the plants were barely 15 days old (from seed) when they all 6 showed sex.....just amazing. Ill at least toss some pics up of a male & female here for people to see these tiny little plants showing sex, maybe tonight.

I have an autoflowering strain called Quicksilver from G13 Labs that was a freebie from Attitude going along with other plants. It's the first and only autoflowering strain I've ever used. It's not supposed to be a dwarf plant like the lowryders, but still considered autoflowering... I'll post up results when I have them.

Here's the info from Attitude:

G13 Labs Cannabis Seeds - Quicksilver Feminized Autoflowering

Sex : Feminized
Type : Runderalis, Indica / Sativa
Flowering :
Autoflowering
Genetics :
Unknown
Flowering Time :
Medium
Outdoor Harvest :
Not yet known
Height :
Medium
THC Level :
Medium
Characteristics :
Autoflowering capabilities

Quicksilver is named for her autoflowering capabilities and her unreal tight glistening resin crystals that cover her well formed perfect buds, which are like a layer of pure silver.
Quicksilver has great advantages for growing indoors and out due to her being auto-flowering, she will start to flower according to her age rather than the give light cycle.
Quicksilver normally begins flowering around 6 to 8 weeks.
Not to be confused, Quicksilver does not qualify as a dwarf cannabis strain, however she will never grow out of control!

I wish I had some pollen from a male with good quality genetics to try to seed some lower branches on it to see if I get some plants in the next generation that carry over the autoflowering traits. Maybe I could get someone on here to send me some pollen from one of their strong males? My own plants won't be flowering until after the Quicksilver finishes...

kolorblind, can we get a pic update?

OK, I keep promising an update, then I get home and start watering, tinkering etc. and it gets too late haha! Well last night wasnt much different, other than the "high note" I ended the night on :) I decided to clip a bud off Carmen and oh my JESUS did it get us wonderfully high. I havent been high like that in some time. It was almost an instant head high from the first hit, even though it was not dried properly. It didnt taste superb due to the fast drying process, but there was a hint of fruity pebbles in there :) I got like 6 or 7 seeds out of the 2 little buds we picked off, and they look nice & brown.

I decided to flush both ladies one last time, and tonight they will go in my closet with no lights or water for 2 days, then its HARVEST TIME!!! I will do my best to get pics of everything tonight and post an update before going to bed.

I had a question though, does anyone know if it is ok to shock a plant if it is pollinated? Is it bad for the seeds? I plan to leave them in the closet for 48 hours, then chop & hang them. Any input on this would be much appreciated!

Thanks guys, pics comming soon!

Hi Toocool, thanks for stoppin by!!
It seems odd to me that after 3 months you havent harvested your AFs. As far as Ive read the longer life cycle AF strains are only grown for 10 MAYBE 11 weeks but by then they should be fat & sticky with buds. Mine are like 1.5 months old and if I wanted to I could harvest today lol. Of course, the buds will be much bigger given another couple of weeks, plus I need all the seeds to fully develop.

I dont know if maybe you were given a non AF strain by mistake or if that is just some ridiculously long life cycle strain. If I read correctly, youre saying that even after 3 months one plant is just barely showing signs of sex?? Thats crazy if so, it should happen around week 3.

No, you misread his post. He said one was LR2 and the other a generic sativa (meaning a regular plant).

Just a tip for next time, slip any seeds for storage in the fridge. Use a film canister. Keeps them safe and ...ahem...where u can find them ltr...
