AutoFlower Compared to Regular

Thats a good point, if you have a small set up, you only need 1 space to do a perpetual harvest as you only need one light cycle
You can do this with 1 tent of any size and 1 light aso. A 600 watt light and 10 plants. Keep light on 24 hours a day. Put 5 plants in tent and rotate them every 12 hours in and out of the grow area and the tent(preferably right next to it to save time and back pain). If your worried about showing a pattern in your electric bill this snuffs that out also_Only downside to this is if you need to leave the house for a few days during flowering. So plan accordingly.

Don't forget the high electricity bill on your short list of downsides.

As far as not being able to clone auto's some of just use colloidal silver and do a seed run.I live in wa state and and know what what top shelf pot is all about.I grow both photo's and auto's but if I had to choose one it would be auto's. Try some auto blueberry cheese very strong and has no ceiling you'll smoke your self senseless lol.some one mentioned la diva another great blueberry smoke and it will rival photo blueberry all day.if I want a massive yield from one plant I can't spend 5 months and get that pound plus no problem with photo's in that same space I can have that pound plus a month early.you would be surprised how many auto's actually ar in the medical dispensaries.

When I started growing about 5 years ago I started with autos. I had a diesel auto. I can't remember which now but it did produce and was good weed. I grew autos for a couple years until Herbies sent me some Super Silver Haze photo freebies. I've grown photo since. That Haze I like.bongsmilie

Production growing relies on cloning which is impossible with autos.

You need the uniformity of cloned genetics

I grow auto's regularly and here's why:
I grow outdoor and where I live the season is short. I can grow two crops with auto's where with standard plants I can do one and by harvest time I'm worried about frost destroying them before I can chop. One standard plant will yield more then one auto, this is due to a very short veg period on auto's. You make up for the smaller yield by growing multiple plants. As for the quality, its all about the strain genetics and how you grow. What I produce with my auto's is in my opinion much better then the average buds you can buy locally. That being said, could you get better quality from standard photo period plants? Well certainly there is always something out there that's better and there are always many tricks to improve quality. It seems to me that auto's are an extra tool in our growers tool box, is it the right tool for you? That's entirely up to you to decide.

Guys i would love to see you proiduce more than 20g dry from an outo. they were grown in 10L airpots same as my photo period.

Only differance is the auto was in soil and my current plants are in coco. nutes were all top shelve.

Why grow Autos???? It honestly doesnt take much longer to grow a normal plant, stop waisting your times

Regarding the guy with the plant on the window ledge with 5hr of sun light, thge only word for this is lol. calm down son!

Is this even possible, i doubt it show me pictures.
Its hit and miss with autos. I don't know the weight but filled two quart jars with one. It even was put in 12/12 the last part of its life. It was in a 10 inch pot. It was fire.

The next were grown outdoors and in larger pots and had about two j's worth on each plant. It was horrible smoke to.

I would like to add that you "Certainly" can get more than 20 grams from an autoflower. I have been growing for about a year and a half, Auto Heavy Bud in airpots, Seeds were produced with colloidal silver from my first grow from breeders' seeds. Fox Farm soil, AF nutrients. Lights on 24/0. Only reason I weighed one was I am in an illegal / decriminalized state and I wanted to make sure I was staying at a misdemeanor level. I dry individual branches, cutting next to the first bud, there were 13 weighed units from the plant, so there is a little more weight than strictly bud. Wet 528 grams / 18.6 ounces. Dried after 3 weeks, 105.6 grams / 3.72 ounces. This was an exceptionally tall plant, almost 7 feet tall. Most of my plants are 4 - 5 feet tall.
