Auto watering system for organic soil

Hey everybody, all of a sudden i have to go out for a few days so ive been stressing myself trying to sort out a auto watering system, ive taken a look at this thread https://www.rollitup.org/t/diy-drip-irrigation.74538/ but cannot find stakes of that sort, i have already bought a submersible pump and a timer, i have a 2-4 gallon bucket and 21 foot piping, i had bought some piping yesterday but totally screwed it up trying to get it to work my pots are at different heights but i should just stick them at the same height so i can get a more even flow.

This is the prototype picture ive drawn up, i have high hopes for this

I guess having pots at different heights isnt a problem as long as u have the plastic container on a stand so its not tilting ! Please let me know what you guys think ! Thank you and peace !!!

Hey not sure if this is helpfull for your situation, but I just ordered blumats from amazon for 87$
Enough to cover a 4x8 bed or I think 16 containers

Hey bro, blumats sound good but ive already bought the equipment and prefer top waterings, ive been doing prototype testing all night and all is going well, i put the submersible pump on its lowest setting and it pumps about half a gallon to be more exact 2 litres a minute, i made a test setup using round pans and putting the splitters on a flat surface so it evenly flows through all of them, for the irrigation as in the picture i poked holes in the tubing with a hot metal pin & the water squirts evenly through all of them aswell, say 4 holes looks like 4 people peeing into the pot its not too strong or too weak pretty good flow just need to keep lines even and get the holes the same size but with this clear tubing making holes is a lil tricky but it worked pretty good ! im planning on just sticking to this design and tweaking it when i arrive back in 3 days, need to starting working on the splitter box got a perfectly sized container i found in the closet, going to make it as neat as i can ! Peace bro

How much have u spent so far?

I'm expanding so blumats seem reasonable considering the extra amount of plants I would have to and water

About 14$ on the pump, 14$ for the timer,6$ piping & connectors, got the bucket already, so 34$ aint bad ! Peace bro thanks for the advice man

Just use a wick system? Get a container, fill it with perlite, soak the perlite and put water to within 1 inch of the bottom of the pot containing your plant you put on the top of the perlite. There's a thread on Grasscity, noob's ghetto sip, or you can go pro with Global buckets, Google it
