Auto Berry Bomb

Hello all growers. This is my first time growing an auto strain. Thought i might try something different.
I"m using an Auto Berry Bomb from Bomb Seeds. It's already been germinated to the point that i got my tap root and put it into a 3 gallon smart pot using only Happy Frog. That"s in a make-shift grow box with 24 watt cfl's and 2 12 watt led grow lights(i think they are 12 watt.) When i have room they will go in the big tent under the 600 watt led.
Since I'm new to autos any info would be great. I'm deciding on using either fox farms tro or going with advances nutrients. Any advice with that? It will be in a 3x3 tent with a 600 watt Mars Hydro. and a co2 bag.
I didn't include any picks because it's basically a bag of dirt right now..lol. but if anyone wants to see the set ups let me know and i'll put up a few pics.
Thanks everyone
Hope to have a good thread going.

Its friday. 36 hours and she has popped through. Not going to give any water for another 4-5 days. Just a light spritz here and there. Ive included some pics of my ghetto veg box. It's ugly as shit but it works..lol. I'm going to keep a regular update on waters, feeds.and when i switch it into the bigger room. I'm going to do this to help me keep all my records of her life. Ill also check back daily to read any comments. I also might ask a question or two along the way.
Thanks all.
Keep them growing fat and sticky.......

I grew a few Bomb seed co. seeds, havent tried Berry Bomb though. Can't wait to see their autos. Keep us updated.

Its all good in the hood. If it works it works. Just don't start a fire lol. You might need some slight ventilation.

I would do atleast 20 hours of light a day. Seen some really good 24 hour grows with soil also.

Hello everyone. it's day four. Everything is going good so far she is a bit taller. Ive decided im going to go with a 24 light cycle for now then when she is a bit stronger i'm going to switch her to 20/4. 2 more days till her first real watering. I will always post some pics with every posting Is there any special way to water? do i do it the same as a photo-period? add water till it starts to drain out the bottom. Do autos prefer a certain level of ph that might be different than photo-periods?
Well here are some pics of the baby and some pics of the her future home.

Looking good bro. Like the little set up you got haha. I will be interested in seeing how it does under the 600. All i run indoors now is autos and keep outdoor for photos. I love growing autos. There fun to experiment with.

I find between 5.5 and 6 gets good growth without lockouts. But I am far from and expert on the subject lol..

I also heard changing the light period can negatively effect them.

Watering at the start of the light period seems best. If your on 24 hours I would try to stick to around the same time every feeding.

If I am steering you wrong hopefully some one corrects me lol.

Autos won't react too negatively on small light changes like that. Just dont go 24/0-20/4 down to like 12/12 then back etc.. With my autos, since the light basically stays on, I water when my temps are average for the day (72-75)but the humidity is at one of its lowest points. Usually in the morning i am around 40-50%. People don't think of it very often but your humidity raises after waterings. ( i run 45-65% RH in flower no problems ever) Just keep the air moving.

PH should be 6.0-6.5 in soil
Hydro or soiless should be 5.5-6.0 (Don't go above 6.5) You'll run into lockouts if not in soil.

Feed slowly, some are very picky to nutrients. My purple express has N tox for 6 weeks.. even with 2 soil leeches.. And that was just 1 feeding... That happy frog will take out all the way until about 3 weeks. or first pistils appear. Good luck

Hello everyone.
Today was her first real watering. Ran a half gallon through. Still on a 24 hour cycle. I did not ph my water this time around. I'm not sure my tester is 100% accurate. which one do you guys prefer. if its the digital one then i will go out and get the calibration kit. if its the other then i will pick that up tomorrow. I'm not going near her with nutes until i see pistils. Nobody has talked up on which nutes and program works best for them. This plant is going to be like a blog plant. I want to do what everybody gives me ideas on. So it will be like a community plant.(that only my wife will smoke..lol) example. someone said ph should be 5.5-6.0 and someone else said 6.0-6.5 so im going in the middle 6.0 is the winner. so lets get some idea of nutes and how much and when and in a couple of weeks we will start them up.

Hydro PH should be 5.5 -5.8
soil ( this does not include coco) 6.2-6.5 PH
Coco- 5.5-6.0

6.0 in soil will work, But 6.5 gives you the best availability overall for nutrients once you start them,
I run general organics
Grow 4-2-2
bloom 2-4-4
CaliMagic 1-0-0 ( 5% calcium, 1.5% magnesium, 0.01% iron)
Hi-brix molasses
BioWeed
BioRoot
DiamondBack
Fox farms Ocean forest soil with 25% perlite added
Expanding clay pellets (1 inch layer on bottom and top)

That is my nutrient line that i run

I have 2 of each meter, PPM and PH, i always compare the 2 so i always know that they are in line with each other, one gets fucked up i will know. But if you don't have the spare funds for it, one is all you need.

I have stuck with the liquid for a while. My meter was way off and never realised it, ended up making acid water for the plants.

I already know my plants are going to be high ph when I check them daily, but I do it anyway. Then two capfuls of ph down brings it to the safe zone. By the same time the next day, ph is right back up..

The fight continues. Just keep that shit calibrated lol.

Why your PH keep going way back up i might ask mate? Any ideas? A lot of chlorine in your water?
