Auto Assassin Problems

So after foliar spraying her with a little silica, alfalfa, and kelp she has 2 leaves that got all funky and crispy on me. And after dealing with rain for the past 2 days i noticed she has white stuff on some of her leaves. I have no idea what's going on so if i could get some pointers in the right direction i'd appreciate it.

Ahhh man that was too funny lmao. Dude was serious wtf? Can't even trust your friend's homegrown these days. Extra frosty buds. Hell nah. But back to the plant. The spray was before the rain so it should have washed that away. Possible nute burn on the leaves from the spray sense it didn't show up until later that same day. Only 2 leaves are affected but i'm gonna keep an eye on it.

it looks crunchy does it scrape off
im serious about the bird poop
it looks like something caked on
if it happened the same day you sprayed i doubt its a burn and probably just what ever you spray collected and dried on there
or like i said bird crap
have you tried washing it off with a rag or paper towel and water ?

Preciate it guys and yeah i just wiped it off with some water and my hand so good thing it seemed more like silica than bird poo. Didn't know Alfalfa was that potent. IF i do a foliar spray again i'll either make sure everything is diluted or just spray lightly with the silica and aloe vera.

Another question. Don't have any pictures but i gotta White Critical plant that has nitrogen deficiency. It's pretty much all over and a few leaves on the bottom are turning really yellow. It's only been 4 days of flower so it's way too soon for that. I know the common sense thing would be to add N but it also shows a lil nute burn. Doesn't look like the auto of course because i haven't sprayed it. It's just in the tips. And recommendations?

Well the dry nutrients i'm using says it has lime in it. And i don't bother with ph sense everything i'm using is organic. It's the only one of the other 3 in the same environment that displays that. It's been a funny lil plant from the go though.

She's doing just fine It was just a couple leaves. In these pics she was at day 42. Haven't taken anything recent but she's now at day 52. Just packing on frost and weight now. Did a lil experiment and turned 2 of the smallest branches into pollen sacs. Cut 'em off and sprinkled some pollen on a Blue OG i got going. They both have a bomb smell. Sweet and fruity so i'm ready to see how the seeds produce once they're ready.

there are way different PH's found naturally in soil not to mention the water you are using
half an acre of garden space in my yard tested a high 5 - low 6 and the rest tested almost 7
just from spot tests
part of it is down hill from pines and the rest was a hill sorta
so just because it says organic doesnt mean ph doesnt matter
battery acid is organic doesnt mean it wont hurt your plants
just tossing that out there

Yeah i know ph ranges even with organics. With the auto being outside though i usually don't ever feed (nutrients already in soil) or water it. Nature keeps her watered. But regarding the White Critical why would it only show problems during flower? Eventually i realized the silica i was feeding it made the water's ph about 8-8.5. This was my first time using silica so i had no idea it changed the ph that dramatically. Once i started to ph the water, it slowed down the yellowing. The water i use is distilled which has a ph of 7.

Another problem with the girls inside is the spider mite problem. It's like once they were in flower for a couple weeks spider mites appeared everywhere. Is that due to the dark period?

Is there a general rule of thumb to know when autos are ready to be plucked? Read somewhere to let them go at least 70 days before the chop. Some say they go by the pistols. Still got quite a few white pistols. Checked the trichs today and i saw about ALL cloudy. Maybe 5% at most are clear, even on the lower branches. Planning to chop on day 63. We've been gettin so much rain i wish it was already finished. Don't have the best camera but these were taken today at day 53: 20140805_195449.jpg 20140805_195456.jpg 20140805_195508.jpg 20140805_195510.jpg 20140805_195532.jpg

i go by the fan leaves and chop 2 weeks after they start to yellow
but that is indoors in a more controlled environment
if it was me i would go by the pistils and the age
if it still has fan leaves then it can still make buds
when the pistils brown and stop getting replaced so like 75% brown and and the rest white
but if you grown it this long whats it going to hurt to let it run a few weeks longer
as a rule of thumb auto's take 10 weeks and that just gives you an idea to start watching for the clues that it is finished
chopping at the appropriate time effects a lot more than potency
yield
can be greatly effected even though the buds appear to have stopped bulking its still making resin
and that is where the real weight comes from
and what really makes the bud burn slower
early buds burn up fast and leave you with a empty bag alot sooner then expected

and the mites may have just not gone through a life cycle and bred yet
and now that they have they've taken over
