Australian Customs

well the shop I buy from is also my local grow/hydro shop (in Copenhagen) they keep a good amount of strains to choose from and seem`s to update it like every half year with a handful of new strains and as I said, if you ask em, they get it home for you, think they have a deal with a bigger European seed bank as I see 5-7 different brand`s and they get em home pretty quick and cost is just about the same as any other online seed bank, so I guess they get em with some sort of discount as a shop also why I stick to em, and would probably do even if they had a 10-20% extra cost, just to avoid all the fuss of shipping across borders, but Im happy, if I collect em myself I can even safe money on the shipping so I end up with cheaper seed`s then online

so yes if its the same in Australia as in Denmark and seed`s are legal to have/sell/buy (not to grow tho) you would think somebody would get that market, Im sure there are good money to earn being legit and provide good service

Old thread mate. Customs are getting harder to get past. Most of my delivers take 5 weeks from Europe to door. Some don't make it but I always get guaranteed delivery and the second shipment has always gotten through.

I understand it was an old post but i didnt want to create a duplicate post on the same topic, ive had an order thats "on its way" "awaiting clearance", was 8 seeds but just worried that it'll get me in trouble or they just seize it and send a note?

Customs just seize it, They may let the feds know, feds will probably do nothing as they are busy with all the MDMA and trips and cocaine etc coming in by post.. I have never had a note.
My last seized order was around 80 seeds.

Well there's your problem

pay extra for stealth shipping, buy 4 or 5 seeds, spray the strongest one with CS, pollinate the second strongest one and never buy seeds again.

not really mate, 5 or 300 seeds doesn't take up much room at all and when you do the auctions u can pick up quality bulk seeds for cheap. Which means you can swap your good genetics with other peoples good genetics..
and yes of cause stealth shipping.
No fun in only growing 1 or 5 strains...and why spray when u can clone?

Yeah totally, I'm not paying you out about it bro. When I lived in Brisbane I used to get all sorts of shit mailed in. Moved back to NZ a few years ago and found they Xray everything coming in from certain countries, and from my experience a few seeds mixed in with a jar of similar sized plastic beads never gets intercepted, but a higher concentration of organic material seems to get picked up all the time. I've never lost anything as I only order small and I don't import at all anymore as I've settled on a couple strains, but a mate of mine loses about a third of his shipments cos he's a bit of a greedy cunt. at least he's got the good sense to get them all sent to his little army of smurfs though. smart guy.
The reason to go seeds instead of clones? There's three from my perspective.
1. you can spray CS on one plant, pollinate a few plants and then store thousands of them for a few years. This means you can pop as many as you want whenever you want and you can seedbank a bunch if you want to grow something else for a while and come back to it later. It's a lot of work all in one go at the start but you're set for years once you're done with no more import risk.
2. you can put your mother nature tiara on, wave your magic fairy wand and engineer your own strains. that's the main reason I go with seeds. It's early days for me I've only done it once, but I'm really starting to think it's more fun than cloning (and it's a good excuse to dress up like a fairy).
3. run feminized autos to seed with feminized pollen and you can do two runs of autos outside every summer and when the cops fly over in between the two runs predictably as they do at the same time every year they see nothing but and empty patch of dirt. Cloning autos never goes well.
I do appreciate the advantage of cloning, especially consistency. Whatever blows you hair back though aye?
