I am looking at a QB 120 for the veg light though, at least over summer. Waiting for the "kit" to come back into stock.
Will use a 130w cfl for the heat in winter.

Are you trying any outdoor grows this season.?
Not really.

The Northern lights I harvested ive put outside and two of the three are revenging. The 3rd one may die. Lets hope they get some good growth before the light cycle turns.
I havent got a plot this year and a mate is using my last years plot. Going well for him to, he already has plants over 6 ft. Been a fantastic start to the year down here.

Just watching my plant and weight count. Anything over 19 and a kilo is bad here.

I've come to the conclusion I could (potentially) run the Nugbox passively cooled over the winter months.

It's 51% rh @ 21c in this room. And passively run. The cab was at 29.5c and 35% rh. Which has jumped to 41% and 24c after switching on the exhaust fan.

Mind you. Those numbers aren't with the lights ran at full output. That's still only 40% on the dimmer.

(Realistically) there's neighbors- whose stance on pot I don't know. That. And, while I may like the smell. My housemate does not. Nor does mr plod.

How much 2 k get
I spent 5k for a 10kw system
Wow. So prebuilt/preselected parts is/are a rip off too.

This one is 465w, 12v, 2× 130Ah Batteries. With a decent looking mppt controller. I'd still need to add an inverter to that too.

Guess I'll be looking up the parts to use then.

I have a decent home made setup made from eBay parts for camping. I "acquired " 2x cat batteries that I Have in a 24v -onfig and bought 4x60w eBay solar panels $50 each a 12-24 volt voltage and charge meter with panel input and battery input $12 and a sinewave inverter for $130 .in full sun the panels will charge the batteries enough to run a fridge all night and I have played x Xbox on decent sise TV for a few hours. It would run your lights no worries probably for 2 days without charge. Mind you these batteries are massive.
