Nice carpet snake. I usually take them home and put them in my shed. Think I have the same problem with my leaves
I don’t worry about snakes but I’m not keen to catch them if they leave me alone I leave them alone :).
It wouldn’t surprise me @bobqp its not too bad if your plants are healthy but when it fruits you get those dead spots on the leaves then if they get wet they will mould and cause serious grief.
Silver Lotus starting to beast up a bit got about 6 or 7 around the 1400mmmark and then Dream Lotus #1 is just shy of 1700mm.

I've noticed those spots on my leaves the last couple of seasons. Cheers for letting me know what it is I might be able to fix it.

Lets put it this way if your letting your soil dry completely between watering for more than a day then thats precious time the plants are not growing to thier full potential.
I water by bucket till they are well over a metre then I run a hose from the water tank and leave it to our 10-15 mins worth of water at 1/4 speed
Last yr was the first year I used a hose like that and yield improved markedlyfrom using a bucket/watering container.
Works in the soil like I am...
If yours are in pots u only need to water till u see run off I'm sure u would already do that...and slow deep water is better than fast soak...
Fuck me i wrote a story...blue dream does that lol
Yeah i normally just lift it to see if its dry but i think that i need to water in larger amounts, my plants havent been growing too fast but that could also be down to the weather. Im thinking of setting up barrels of water with a timer set up so they can water more slowely and i wont have to lug 8 x 20L containers around.

I get blindsided a bit by hoping I get as much as the year before...but your right as an Indica lover I should be stoked
And I'm feeling better by the day now I can see growth daily.

Jesus those things are huge! You must be doing something right, i reckon mine were started about the same time and are about 80-90cm tall. Have you topped at all?

If you cut any leaves of before the spots cause the leaf to die that should help keep it under control but I’ll let you know how the sprays work if they do.

That’s why seeds keep me excited about growing after running clones for so long you just get little surprises every now and then. I was running up and down the hill pulling in a new water line this arvo and I was thinking how I’m enjoying growing more and more every year I wouldn’t rather be doing anything else.

Topped once and tied them down for 2 weeks a couple are still tied down but these ones will get caged and trained through the mesh over the next 2 weeks.
Getting the right strains for what you want to grow like is the most important thing I reckon not just buying what’s on special or the one you get the most freebies with at the Attitude, you can get some nice plants from the free ones don’t get me wrong but when you only get one go at it a year you can’t afford to gamble a season on unknown genetics, all the ones I’m growing I’ve seen Big healthy plants outdoors.

That makes sense, i tried to find a couple outdoor strains but i really had no clue what i was doing. Ive definitely learnt a huge amount already but ive got a lot to learn left. It would be good if i could of started with a strain thats aslready been grown in my area for years and has proven results but i had no access to something like that.

You should try wonder woman from nirvana seeds its a very good yielding plant that does well in all conditions.
Can go 10 weeks average outdoors flowering just gotta be mindful I let that strain go 11 weeks the 3 times I've grown it but its a sweet arse smoke and prob my favourite hybrid

This was the first season I really had a clear idea of what strains I was going to grow instead of picking stuff that I hoped would go alright. Bodhis crosses especially the Snow Lotus lines have been well tested for outdoor growing by the guys in Norcal for a few years now and you don’t see many guys disappointed with them.
