Attitude vs Herbies vs Seedsman

Just coming back in here to say that Seedsman is awesome! Placed three separate orders in January for the Bodhi promo and damn I've racked up some beans. My first order took 15 days due to the "polar vortex." I placed a second order the day I opened the first, this one made it here in 7 days. My third order was placed last Thursday and got it today, 6 days. I believe that's the quickest shipment I've gotten except maybe my first Attitude order. Nothing but great results from Seedsman, my favorite bank now.

Cheers
Very Cool! Glad you had a great experience...

Update...

I got very busy around the time my Sannie's Extrema seeds arrived so I didn't have a chance to update... They arrived on 2/6 making the delivery time 6 days (I believe) and they breezed through customs. As a side note, I live on the west coast of the US and my previous orders from Attitude and Seedsman both went through Los Angeles customs, Sannies came in through New York. I found Sannie's stealth to be excellent and very creative. A bit of a pain to sort out but well worth it. Since I didn't take a picture of the seeds upon arrival, I thought I would share their current condition...

2/15 - Soaked seeds in a shot-glass of water for 24 hours
2/16 - Moved to moist paper towels in sealed baggies place between two paper plates and left sitting over the ballast of my 4 light T5 HO nursery lights for 48 hours
2/18 - Transferred to cups of Pro Mix and placed under 18/6 T5 HO

Germination Rate - 9/10 very healthy looking babies...

Not to my knowledge... I keep my spare seeds in the refrigerator and I know some people that keep them in the freezer... I know it has been cold but I think the seeds can handle it. I am sure there is some point that the cold could kill the seeds but I don't think we got there. Perhaps someone with actual knowledge can answer the question better...

My expected germination rate is about 85% with quality seeds from good breeders. Not every seed is going to make it... And not all of your "female seeds" will be female...

Is that Female Seeds C99? Wow! That is a lot of growth for a 6 hr period! Growing like a weed as some would say...
not growth. she turned her branches up in 6 hrs. you can't see how dense she is when she was standing straight up. Yes the c99 is female. I bought 5 fem seeds and they gave me 2 free. She would be allot taller but i put her in this 12 qt(3 gallon) pot when i seen roots in the root riot cube sticking out. she didnt grow much for 11 days but since she is growing fast and dense. i alos planted her near the side so i could lay her down. this is gonna be a monster plant by the time she is ready for flower ill have a new tent and lights. she will make me lots of clones. When i go to Michigan this summer ill take a few clones with me to share.

I see... How much LST are you going to do with her and how long are you going to veg her?

Herbie's order was in the mailbox today :hump:. Got my Sinmint GSC, Mk Ultra (5 + 2 free), and the other kickass freebies.

After using all three banks within a two month period, I can honestly say that my experience was pretty much the same all around. Professionals in this globally developing industry.

2-3 more months of veg. till i can afford to buy bigger lights/tent. im gonna lst as much as i can and top the shit out of her. i want 30+ tops she will be the first plant to go into my new tent and i want her to fill up a 4x4 area. that is why i am doing lst and ill super crop her also. when she is done i want her to be 5'-6' tall at harvest. from all ive seen here at RIU im sure i can yield a pound from her or real close. if i cant get enough led for $600 then ill get 1000 watt hps setup.

Please do a grow journal. I would love to see the plat with all of that LST and I would really like to learn about supper cropping. Plus it would be cool to see a 4 x 4 tent full of one plant.

Just to put my 2 cents worth in. I used Seedsman. I ordered in mid January. Their service and communication were A+. I got the stealth shipping and they did a great job with that. I got the empty book and it is a thing of beauty. My order was 5 white widow fems with 5 free sleestack skunk x. They arrived 2-1. On 2-2 I germed them between paper towels between two plates. 9 out of 10 seeds popped in less than 48 hrs so I put them in dirt. By 2-8 only 5 seedlings were showing. I gave the other ones another week to come up but no luck and still no germ on the last seed. So what I have as seedlings are one white widow and 4 skunk. The widow is very small and 2 of the skunk are deformed. The leaves are oddly formed. I emailed Seedsman and waited. I repotted from solo to 3g and now it has been 4 weeks since the original delivery. I emailed Seedman and after about 3 days got a response. They are going to replace the white widow. Maybe I just got unlucky but it would appear I got some bad genetics. The proof is in the pudding though. I will probably try someone else nextime.

So cool to hear everyone is receiving their goods, I'm jealous too! Placed my order with Attitude Feb. 13, arrived ISC in LA Feb. 15 and there it still sits. Funny I live an hour away and USPS can't get it to me in two weeks....

I take pics each week so when she gets bigger ill do a c99 grow thread of her. then make journal when done.

Glad to hear you had a positive experience with Seedsman delivering your seeds. It may be important to keep in mind that Seedsman is a "middle-man" in most cases (They do offer their own line of seeds) and not the breeder of the seeds. For the most part, they buy seeds from breeders and resell them.

About 85% of the seeds that I start actually make it to the plant stage. Not every seed makes it out of the paper towel, some are just duds. The critical part of the process for me is the transfer from paper towel to soil. It is very easy to damage those little guys accidentally. I just finished germinating Sannies, Extrema and Delicious Seeds, Cotton Candy. I was 9/10 on Extrema and 8/10 on Cotton Candy. Half of the Cotton Candy came up scraggly and deformed. I am not to worried about them at this point. I have some Dutch Passion, Blueberry in veg right now that did the exact same thing. It came up really scrawny and scraggly and now it is one of the most lush and vibrant strains in my garden. It took a little while but it eventually caught up to and passed some of the other "healthy" strains that were planted at the same time. I am getting ready to move her over in to bloom next week and am excited to see how she does there. So I am going to give the Cotton Candy time to straighten out and catch up. We shall see...

I would consider the fact that Seedsman was even willing to address the issue and work with you in any regard as positive. I think most companies would have just blown you off...

If you are looking for an alternative, I really like Herbie's. They shipped my last order in less than 12 hours.

Peace,
