Article from NORML About Craiglist Marijuana in Michigan

No precedent has been set in the courts yet so that interpretation is up for grabs at the moment. If I were a caregiver, I don't think I'd be comfortable providing anything to somebody that hasn't filed the paperwork to designate me as their caregiver. Selfish as it sounds, I'd rather see some other ballsy martyr serve as a test case rather than put myself out there as the guinea pig.
the misleading part of the NORML article is the fact that the pictures are in reference to people who are most likely Pts as well and acting in accordance with law. just a CG though would be in trouble. however if pt and caregiver, you would be fine.

Only one place does it state that the sale of marijuana is ok and that is described as the primary caregiver can be compensated by the patient. The primary caregiver is the person who is on file with the state. Because marijuana sale is still illegal federaly, they won't talk about the ways to "acquire" it. A patient or caregiver could "acquire" marijuana from a cartel and still be exempt from any crimes because it was legal for them to buy it while the seller could still be charged. So the seller assumes all responsibilty when it comes to patient to patient sales and from the sound of it, only those who have you listed as caregiver can compensate and recieve marijuana from you, legally.

Patient to Patient transfers are completely legal - a patient can be a caregiver as well.

therefore that Cg who is also a patient and has 5 patients, could get compensated for his meds and plants when offering them to any patient in the state.

if you are only a caregiver - then no, no you cannot transfer to anyone but your 5 patients

So true it is our job to govern the government. We have already let it get too damn far with marijuana being a federal crime. That jonny is why I will stand and swing if I have to.. for my kids. My father and grandfathers generation were too fearfull to get er done. So now it is generation x's turn at bat with even a bigger government.

Unlike my father and his father I will not be growing corn. And again welcome any opposition that will help shape my childrens childrens world for the better. Marijuana has chosen me and I it to help assist me in and on my path of life.
I don't think the previous generation was "too fearful to get er done", they were simply lied to by the government through constant propaganda campaigns and the citizens back then bought it hook line and sinker. The sooner the remnants of the prohibitionist baby boomer generation die off and the offspring of generation X multiply, the sooner marijuana law reform on a national level has a chance of succeeding.
