A51 gave me some insight into the new lights.

The new lights will be using Vero 29 v2 LEDs, total power consumption will
be roughly 95w. The units are linkable as well, you can make a single
fixture as big as 760w.

We'll also be offering a higher efficiency Cree CXB version later on as well.

I finally got a replacement for my broken fan. He said he would ship it immediately on 2/16 but when I finally got it last Friday, the ship out date on the package was 3/2

That's shitty. One of my lights broke after 3 days, and I was stuck without a light for 3 weeks. He said " it won't cost you anything." Lol

No other light on the market is even comparable though.

Do you know if the rw single chip line will continue on? I prefer red+white combo over all white

I also wonder if jumping on the COB bandwagon means we won't be seeing the upgrade kits for the sgs, xgs, and rw lines. Hope that isn't the case. Was hoping to see an xp-l or mk-r upgrade some day.

Oh I don't know I assume he will make an upgrade, said he would a while back. Always been cool with me getting back to me promptly I'll send him another email I don't like to bug them too much lol

I like to supplement my XGS190 with some off the shelf warm LEDs during flower. How are Crees' spotlights that are sold at Home Depot? I used to use the old Cree bulbs stripped of their covers, but rather just grab a couple of spotlights for ease of use.

Just a single color? No longer Red + white?

Can't wait to get my hands on some of these. If Area 51's going to start using Vero 29's and CXB's, fuck building shit. Plus, I like contributing to the cause. Peace.

Ahhh I can't decide whether to buy the RW150 right now or wait for the new version!?
Well the new version is obviously going to beat the old version, or at least that is the logical theory. That being worded, if money is not a huge concern I'd advise waiting for the new models to be released.

@Eraserhead announced on a different thread about the new models introducing (and boasting) the new Vero 29, version two technology, offering users a wide range of intensities and spectrums.

I would love to wait till june but I need another 300 watts in the couple weeks. I was looking at the optic suitcases! there force series look alright too, but there smallest model is 280 and in that case I will probably go with 2 more 150s. with the optic vero 120. are you gonna get the same coverage
