Are we now feeling the backlash of 8 years of a Black President?

The most liberal posters here say President Obama was corporate owned and not progressive enough.

The right wing nuts say he was 'too liberal'.

I sense a racist backlash, I heard people demanding change.

Maybe they meant black to white guy kind of 'change'. Maybe 'change' was a code word like 'states rights'.

Don't post lies in this thread, I see right through your racist shit.

The previous president didn't make up lies, and book ended between a Bush and a Trump, he's going to look brilliant to historians.
The nuts are those who actually have been brainwashed to think policy is made by presidents, who are mere puppets for the global elite

Oh.

That's why the 2 major parties are polar opposites of each other.

idiot.
Sigh. Already resorting to making it personal

Politics is just another level of distraction for those who may not follow superstars, game shows, sports (which also pits people against people, as does war)...

It's racist to be disappointed by Obama? Umm, no. Considering what he dealt with, it might be unfair but saying it would be racist to be disappointed that Wall Street reform didn't take place, a stable and sensible health care system wasn't there when he left, fucking drone strikes killing civilians, a complete shambles in Libya, the continued decline of middle America and so forth, is a bit much.

Sigh. You seem destined to think inside a tiny bubble
Facts can be so confining. Once you stop needing facts, an entire universe of alternate universes open up to consider. Makes for great Sci Fi and Fantasy books. The best of which I believe is Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. But then again, JRR was a scholar and a genius. You are not.

The OP was in reference to Trump supporters. And the things I hear and see them say are obviously race influenced.

No president is perfect, but Obama was light years beyond the current regime of lies and fake news.

It's becoming obvious the right just can't govern, even with total control of the house, senate and presidency.
