Are LED lights good enough for a scrog grow?

Hello I was thinking of trying a small scrog grow. I would be using a waterfarm system inside a 36x20x60 tent. I have been looking into which light would be good. I seen 180 watt ufo lights. I was thinking maybe 2 of these would be good coverage for a small scrog grow. What do you think> Would these lights work and be good enough for good buds or should I use another light?

2 180 watt ufo's will cover 6 square ft easily i use one 240 watt that is rectangular it covers the same area
it's up to you... but leds work good for scrog if that is your plan

so if using LEDs is it the same hours just as if I was using HID light? I mean vegging 18/6 and flower 12/12? Would a 240w panel get me the same results or close to it instead of using 2 x 180w ufos? If I decide on using LEDs for lighting. What band do I need to veg and flower with? Or do I just a need a panel or ufos that says full spectrum?

led's will be the future of growing in my opinion once they catch on..and come down in price..they produce little to no heat which is a big plus..just hook them up and grow basically..work excellent for scrog..and just like w/any other type of light, the more the better, but 2 180w ufos will be sufficient for what you wanna grow...its all about how you care for them afterwards (humidity, nutes etc)..get 2 of those lights and you will be quite satisfied...just find a light w/the bands that are generally good for your strain, basically just google it..theres tons and tons of led's to choose from...

Oh ok, what would you suggest for a 1 or 2 plant scrog grow? I am just looking for a good LED that would work well in a 36x20x60 tent. That would be good for a scrog grow. I am just looking for something simple, not really high in price.

I have the exact sized tent, an I use a 300w ViperLED, you can get 2 very tall & wide plants in a scrog with this light, I can't guarantee you a set amount of Ounces, but with the same sized tent, I'm confident with some well trimmed and trained plants you can do about 4 plants under this light and in the 36x20x60 space, just make sure you get some Yo-yo hangers so you can move the light closer to the plants if you have to.

the one i have is about a 9 band full spectrum, you can go from seed to harvest with it,I have for my last 2 grows! Just go on ebay and look up LED grow lights you find a lot of them with different brand names, but I believe they all come from the same area in china

Multi-band diodes and COBs are pretty much inferior options

You want a predominantly white led (which is multi-band) with some extra reds on a separate o/o switch to add once buds set

I am using/testing Amare Technologies Solar Spec. Designed by an mj grower

Their SS150 ($395) is perfect for you (I have 2 which I might be hooking up today)
. They also have a SS 100 ($295), you could start with one, then add a second one later

Their www is not complete, but I can hook you up with where to buy. They ship from CA

How is the 330W ViparLED performing? I see lots of those Chinese ones like Mars Hydro where you can get 300W full spectrum for around $100. I was wondering how one of those might work if I used it in a small 2'X2' cabinet in lieu of a 150W HPS. I would think a cheap Chinese 300W LED "should" (operative word here) outperform a 150W HPS.
