Everyone projected imaginary prices in their business plan. Just like Imaginary yeilds. They all have to move down to $5 to compete so expect the $7 to change. Tweed just put 2 strains for sale at $5 the other day to compete.

Been busy over the Easter holiday, was going to update the original post to reflect most current and accurate information but apparently that option has been removed for now. I apologize for any confusion this may cause. In the mean time I came across this article that gives an idea how many LPs are out there and the different type of licenses they have been granted.

http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2014/04/18/only_20_applications_to_grow_medicinal_pot_approved_so_far.html
As if a former mpp, former dep.police chief and a pharmacist will have to wait longer than the guy who's application is in HC limbo, land. I bet they are up and running 6 months from now. God, they think we're all idiots don't they?

I think there is some validity in what you're saying Jackal, although HC doesn't make it mandatory to be listed on their site once a licence is issued. It's up to the individual LP as to wether or not they want to be listed. There are a few LPs that are not on the HC approved list site.
I believe it's a complex question you pose.
I think it's a mixture of marketing strategies and financial / investors pressure that pushes LPs into " introducing" themselves before they have all the infrastructure and product in place. It is a question that has prompted many discussions for sure.

Well what happened to HC's back up supply???that they were supposed to have purchased, from PPS and Bedrocan....
to fill the gap.....I realize no one wanted any of it.....but where is it????? I'm sure for free bee's a few desperate patients might accept that stuff for free.
Maybe????

Isn't Bedrocan pumping out all milled product? That would be my 1st guess as to where that HC shit is ending up. Another is Peace Naturals with their "by popular demand" Nice N Easy is "milled" (busted up so it's disguised for the newbie) Or maybe Ford has it stashed in his office in Toronto,

Fuck it I'm just going to grow my own. MMPR patients are not legally allowed to do so correct?
Go read and watch all of Coroy`s videos and information and then learn why you are allowed.
1. Written proof that a doctor supports your use of medical marijuana. (your mmpr forms or mmar forms)
2 You are forced to choose between your health and your liberty and it is not possible for you to afford to purchase your medication you require so you produced it yourself for pennies.
