Applying to become a Licensed Producer of Medical Marihuana in Ontario, Canada

Hi,

I am from Southern Ontario, Canada and I have applied to become a Licensed Producer of Medical Marihuana. I applied back in August and since then I have been "fixing" my application to suit Health Canada.

I am on here to see if anyone is in the same boat I am in, or if anyone has applied and been accepted? Maybe we can help each other? Also possibly looking for a partner(s).

I have a 10,000 square foot building to grow in.

I'm also trying to apply and would appreciate your help. I'm also interested in partners that are willing to work hard. Please let me know!

In my mind its all BS. There will be few LP's and the ones that are will all be paying a ton of money (500k+ min i bet) all with some type of corporate background. Wouldnt get your hopes up, not to mention the equipment needed just for testing quality is going to cost a ton.

I do agree, I heard one of Justin Trudeau's buddies bought the old Hershey factory (somewhere in the neighbourhood of 100,000 + sq. ft) and he's going to start growing.

The money is not a problem here, and it costs me nothing to apply for this licence, so I cannot lose here. I already have a great location and a perfect building to grow in. The way I understand it is they are going to accept almost anyone who has the facility to grow, the knowledge and can afford it. This way it will be a competitive market and there won't be a couple companies regulating the prices. I've heard that each producer will be able to set their own price making it a competitive market.

I feel that if I do get accepted for the licence and get it up and running, it will be worth a lot more money down the road. The number of people who have medical marihuana cards is supposed to quadruple in the next couple years.
