Apollo ballasts

Hey guys, i was just wondering if anyone has used the apollo brand ballasts before and how well they work. the site offers a 3 year warranty on thier ballasts which seems really good for the price.

theres a link to the kit i was looking at, my current ballast wont fire the HPS bulb so i was thinking of upgrading to a 1000w system and using the 600w MH for my veg cab. reviews arent great on amazon but i find alot of people dont write them unless they have something negative to say.

have lots of friends that use them and dont know if still offering it but they were giving a free extra bulb for completing survey

nice, have your friends had any issues with the ballast?

the reason i ask is because i bought a cheap ballast my first time and now it will only fire a MH bulb

nope they all happy with them
if your ballast only fires a MH it is because hps ignitor is shot u can replace it real cheap
reason it works with MH is MH bulbs have ignitor in bulb

i opened the ballast up and everything was covered in some black rubber shit so you cant get at any of the components

either way i kinda want to get another light so i can grow with HID in both of my cabs, figure a 1k watt for my flower tent and 600w in the veg cab should be a nice setup

well long as it still runs mh i would go for it
set up u plan sounds great

right now im using a DIY CFL for my veg ina DIY dresser stealth cab, would eventually like to have a second tent and 2 HID's

cfl work great but dont make nice compact buds like hid
better for stealth grows or added lighting
