I wonder if the Benghazi attackers knew of Chris Stevens movements because of Hillary's criminal mishandling of emails that detailed his plans?

It's nearly certain that hackers read everything on her illegal server.

Her home server is not illegal. There is no law against owning a home server. Having top-secret email messages on that home server is illegal. She broke the law.

A fine nit you picked.

Actually, having every one of those emails on a non-governmental server was illegal, not just the classified emails. Government employees are required by law to safeguard records, that includes emails. The classified emails were the worst violation, but the rest were illegal as well.

the emails are just now being classified as top secret. Some are even asking why are they being classified so. Too bad they won't allow us to see if they should be. i would also like to know if she sent the emails or if they were sent to her.

I completely agree. Though non-classified information can be archived anywhere. Anything classified, secret or top-secret must be maintained on government safeguarded infrastructure(s).

They should go after her like they did with Cheney, Bush. And I think we need to demand a full investigation as to whether Cruz can even run for office, I'd like to see his birth certificate.

If the emails were archived on her home server, and were not classified "then", she has no issues. If they were of some level of classification, and were archived, she broke the law, even if the emails were sent to her.

Let's assume the emails were not classified when they came thru her private home server. While that would seemingly free her from criminal liability, doesn't it at least show overall bad judgement on her part? She made an unwise decision that led to the possible compromise of top secret info. I know she didn't mean to and I know she's sorry, but that doesn't matter.

When I was 7 years old, I shot the picture tube out of our new TV with my BB gun. I sure didn't mean to, and I sure was sorry, but the TV was still ruined.

Nope. All government records must be retained in government archives. If a gov employee sends an email while at work, that becomes a permanent record, by law. If you send your husband the grocery shopping list while working, that becomes a permanent record.

The reason for this is transparency. I vaguely remember a president recently claiming that his administration would be the most transparent ever. hahaha, good one. There is no way to do a freedom of information act request if records are not maintained by the government. That, of course, is why HillDawg kept everything on her illegal server. She did not want the vast right wing conspiracy to know what she did while SOS.

Can anybody here make a convincing case that the Secretary of State of the US never sent or received classified information during her 4 years in office? That is simply not possible. Classified information is classified whether it is marked classified or not. She is a felon.

The mere act of keeping official emails on a private server, even if not classified, is a crime.

I'm curious, I don't know the right answer to this. Can you please point me to where you read this? Maybe an official law? I've run a search and can't seem to find official laws stating what you're stating.
