How much longer? How bad is it honestly? Is it just personal smoke or? Botaniquard is some awesome shit if you want to spend the money. I beat a root aphid infestation with it.

it just depends on how bad it is. if its late in flower, there is not enough time.

Its like 20 aphids per stalk. Not crazy but their there. I only noticed cuz i harvested a few stalks off one plant. There all about 2 to 3 weeks from harvest except for one im doin now. Sucks

If you think they will get substantially worse within 3 weeks (which is a possibility with aphids), use Spinosad. Spinosad is pretty popular amongst cannabis growers, especially organic growers. If you don't already know this, its a soil bacterium called S. Spinosa (harmless to humans) that produces a toxin that specifically targets insects, including aphids. It is extremely effective in my personal experience and doesn't have any noticeable effect on bud taste/aroma, unlike many other pesticides. Just be sure not to soak the buds and instead target the underside of the leaves primarily where you notice the most aphids. In my experience, the similar pesticide, BT, is not effective against aphids so if you do go this route make sure the product contains S. Spinosa and not B. thuringiensis (BT). Its cheap so I would recommend it, especially since I have seen dead insects can contribute to the growth of mold during the dry/cure. I like to keep buds as clean as possible from any dead, decaying organic matter for this reason. That includes insects.

Yeah I would give it a try, I've used it as late as 1 week before harvest and have read about others using it as late as 3 days before harvest. Thankfully I've never experienced any problems with caterpillars, Good luck to you! :weed:

I have aphids also I believe the ones that turn to flies. I found a product that is a fungus that kills the bugs and appears to have no affect on the plant and can be used day of harvest. Name is Mycotrol WPO Beauveria bassiana is the fungus. Let me know if people have heard I'm going to make a post about this product to see if others have heard and used.

Is that the same as Mycotrol WPO I think that's the new improved organic one, I have root aphids also and that seems to be the best organic solution.

Yes its WP something. I beat the root aphids in 2 soil drenches, one at 30ml per gallon and the 2nd one at 19 ml per gallon.
I noticed my infestation around week 2 of flower so i was prepared to throw the crop out, but this shit came through and was able to harvest. I put yellow stickies up before and after to catch fliers, and after the Botaniguard the yellow stickies remained super clean. Oh yea even put some stickies with lollipop sticks in some of the pots just to be safe.
Aphids is 2nd worse to Powder Mold, Spider mites is like Christmas.

I'm going to look into that as well as Captain Jacks which I guess is Spinosad and suppose to have similar affect just cheaper. But it's in with fresh seeds and 2 matured seedlings just randomly died not sure if it's from the aphids or just natures course. My other seedlings are doing really well but the aphids aren't bad yet. I had a bag of fox farm sitting for a few months I put some soil in a cup and its infested. So grabbed a new bag a few weeks ago and found more. Took it back to exchange for something else they gave me a large bag of roots organic for $14, that also has the same aphids. I don't know what to do, thinkin about cooking the soil in a big metal pan above a fire then reintroduce microbes and let it sit for a few weeks. Do you think they should have gave my money back and what would you do, I just invested over 400$ in seeds and have this off the start

Captain Jacks is the bomb, not only for aphids but spider mites as well i caught mites on my girls 2 weeks from harvest and have treated with the CJ sparingly and i also introduced 300 lady bugs to the tent and all seems to be well have seen no further mite activity.

Thanks for the input that's what I'm going to try first considering the price difference. I also read someone said they bought the Botanguard and they didn't even use it because the directions said you should wear resperator and full suit, but then I read someone else who used it for bed bugs and I assume was sleeping in that bed so not exactly sure if the one was overreacting or the other is possibly dead lol
