Costa mesa was my home course when I lived in socal. I am temped drive to play the city championship there this year just cause and old buddy won it last year and I think he is a chop and can't believe he won it. My dad is still one of the regulars there and has been for 30yrs. Tustin is a very fun, cause it is easier but like you say the price isn't worth it. Pelican is just awesome, both courses. Both barona and pachanguna have some of the best courses out there, plus there're casinos too.
Mission viejo is one of my favorite CC to get on.
And in the desert I have played most of mission hills and both bighorns.

And for puff...half moon bay is kinda down your way and is a very nice place.

That conference sounds cool. I assume you will still be at the max yield too.

Some cool golf pic...

Never played mission hills. We were at the springs. was in south county for.a while when I first learned how to swing. but never played mission viejo

Hiya Tags! That conference is going to be very cool indeed. Compared to the 110 degrees outdoors! All kidding aside I'm so looking forward to this conference since many of the researchers who I have come to know and respect publish on the ASHS site. Membership gives you access to all the papers.

Unfortunately I can't make the Max Yield San Francisco show this year as I'll be in Denver but I know Inda-Gro is going to be there with a booth. You should stop by if you can.

The one they play the champions tour on?...yes. They have a US pen qualifier there and my moms boss is a member.

I never played salt creek, but that it is my favorite surf spot. I love the left of the point.

I have played monarch which is 5min north of salt and has a few holes right on the water. Pretty mellow course, but the views and area are special.

42nd 54th balboa is my fav surf spot. Does get crowded. Surfed next salt creek once years ago right past the private beach below the parking lot.

I went to AT today picked up 4 AT120R2's to use in the mean time for the AT480. It's getting ridiculous about them getting shit done but pretty cool to get me the back up lights for now. I need to flip my AOS soon if not tomorrow plus I timed this whole thing around the 480. I got the white housing finally...wasn't around when I got my older AT's. I should get a (6)T8led tube proto to show/test the bulbs soon. Standard lag on that too I'm sure, so I will stop giving definitive dates.

Final dried and trimmed quality flower yield was 486g

While there was another 366g of unusable small buds(half-assly trimmed for sanity sakes)

The quality is amazing. Trichome covered and very strong grape smell that is just pure dank. Obviously the size is small put it packs a big punch.

There was a lot of problems that condemned this grow from early on but I fought on and pulled something good out of it. I will not call this a success by any means but it was not a total failure either.

Total production 852g using 1099w

.77grams/watt for total production
but only .44grams/watt for Grade A usable

If at first you don't succeed then try again...and that's exactly what I am doing now. But with fresh healthy genetics and a clean room. And a few more lights.
I'll see you all over in my new thread. My new thread's link is in my signature and in my post above this.
I just wanted to give everyone the final numbers, despite the lack of impressiveness.

These numbers can't be right. Please do the math again. It seems you are adding up lamp wattage and not kwp/h.
Yield(grams) divided by total lamp wattage is Grams/Watt...and what most judge yield by.

Edit:
The way you are looking at it is probably the truest way to actually show power consumption to yield. But most forget to account for veg time/wattage in that. So when not counting veg G/W works and explains it all just fine because we all use 12/12.
It would make a difference when veg wattages/times are different or if the flower cycles were different such as with indagro's theory.

So for fun I will break it down your way, since it does play to my low wattage use vegging advantage.

Veg:
I used 314w for 15days of veg on 24hrs=113.04Kw
Then 471w for 17 days more 24hr veg days=192.17Kw
Flower:
Then 1099w for 12hrs flower for 62 days=817.66Kw

For a total of 1122.87Kw used to produce 852grams or .76grams/kW used.

So remember to count the veg hours and wattage cause that I assume, that is why you thought I was so wrong.

Good tags

Additionally, few factor in how accomplished the grower is at maintaining; room temps, RH, pH, ppms, quality of nutes, frequency of feeding...

AND is the wattage of the bulb /fixture accurate? We know it seldom is with most commercial LED offerings, but so too older bulbs, which do lose output

Basically GPW is a non starter

tags what was the sq foot area of your grow? not the room just the grow area. I actually prefer judging yield by area. for example when i did par t5 vs 1000w. I got 19 zips for a 4x4 under the 1000w. but I got 12 zips in a 2x4 under the t5. all same strain and veg time. it was raspberry cough at that time. with my new nl x og I cab probably double those figures under both... who wants to buy my 1000 w lol

or i judge per plant or plant average...

It would be helpful to know how many watts your T5 is

Uuhhh 432w. Thats irrelevant to my question and statement. You don't need to know watts to figure coverage. Some t5 are smaller. Those ebay t5 that undercover cop had. Those were 432 w 8 bulbs. Those cover 1.5ft x 4ft. My bad boy covers 2x4

You need a tape measure or ruler or size 12 shoes and your naked eye.

Ok let's stop kicking me while I'm down. I am not trying to say it was a good yield. It sucked and was what it was ... (.77grams/watt). The grow was diseased the whole time and I was doing the wrongs things thinking it was a nutrient problem. I definitely can and have done better with the apache's. My 1st/2nd grow did 421g/461 with just 2 AT120's in a 4.5x4.5 so I call this a huge failure but try to stay positive for myself.
I used the full power draw of the Apache's to calculate...157w. Only 120w is from light. And space wise was 4x8 and the yield sucks big time for that space. 1lb per 4x4 min is acceptable and I obviously fell way short.

I have given everyone the best and most accurate expressions of yield that I can give. Let's just end this thread now and see me improve this time around.

Oh so those at120 cover more than I thought so will 4 of those cover a 4 x 8 then?

Dont worry it happens I just harvest 4 plants last week. And got a qp I think they got too much nitrogen from canna mulch and I didn't wait long enough for roots to break down.. My cheese berry. The least I ever got off it was 2 zips last I got 21 grams. but my current in flower is at 3.5 weeks and big buds and very frosty for mid 4th week. Those pots I watered with enzyme teas and compost teas for a couple weeks instead of a couple days. That broke down all roots and made a huge difference.

I.have 3 NL x og hanging. 1 of which lost 3 branches in mid flower. Im clumsy sometimes. I have big feet. They had too much n as well plus lack of p. Im guesstimating 2 zips each. The seed I had of it had problems and pulled 64 grams. The ones in mid flower now should be pulling twice as much. The new phenos looking like they may be bigger yielders too.

Any way your next will be better. as will mine I hope...... I can't wait til the ones in my veg are done flowering. They should be finishing at 4 ft tall.

4 or 5 with a mover will work. But I would do 6+ for a 4x8 space. 2 AT's works well in a confined 4x4, not better than 1000w hps though...so 3+ are needed to compare to the almighty 1000w hps. That's why the new at480 is (4)120's in one.

Just don't get broad mites or any other stupid ass problems and you can pull good weight from less units/watts.
