Two XGS's will give you a larger footprint than the AT200.
Both the XGS's, and the AT200, are all white LED's, so neither has any real advantage over the other in terms of spectrum.
The XGS's 5W Cree diodes are hard to say no to.
I already own an XGS myself, so I think that answers which one I'd go with.

AT200 comes in any spectrum apache makes. But one vs 2 isn't really a comparison.
Whats your plan for the light(s)?

I would go with the 2 xgs-190's. I am no led expert, in fact im doing my first led grow in may, but the for the same price, you get more lighting, simple fact, there's no way an AT200 would outperform 2 xgs-190's. Its like buying a mercedes, or Brand new honda civics. And, if one of the xgs-190 fails and you have to send it out for repair, you still have a backup, if the AT200 fails and needs to go for repair your'e f'ed in the a.

ATs 12" umol readings are off the charts.... make sure you have head room.

Hands down the toughest company to beat.

May post readings later, but an all white AT will have even higher numbers than the 3:2 flower spectrum (more blue photons), unlike the xgs that has one color/higher CRI, the 3:2/4:1 reds probably still top the sgs/xgs (dare I say RW150..? Yes. o_O) so j can only imbibe how powerful that all NW spectrum is.

< APACHE TECH AT200 > VS < 2 X AREA 51 XGS-190 >

which would you choose?
:joint::mrgreen:
And then throw in this new(er) Spydr 600 from BML Horticulture, and you got 3 really good options!!!

Sorry not gonna jack your thread OP, just caught my eye as I too was looking at the same lights and trying to decide on which one. Unfortunatly, Im having to go with economy over quality, otherwise I would be going with Illumitex Neosol DS 520s the whole way.

If you get the lights, look forward to seeing your progress :)

Goodluck

The AT 200 to Get is the R2 Spectrum 3W/2Red Spoke with Apache in Depth before purchasing the AT600. AT 200 Replaced 600watt MH/HPS and the AT600 Replaced 1k Eye Hortilux HPS. The key to the Apache and difference maker for me was Penetrating Power, the 14°Lense is Better than All Other LED's. I got the Lumigrow Pro 650 and that is an amazing light too replaced 1k HPS. The Journals ive Seen with the Area 51 LED just did not impress or i would have gone with them, 80°lense is good but they are just too Dim in Comparison.

I just finished my first run with two AT 200's and I have never seen this kind of yield, even back when I was using Eye Hortilux 1000 hps bulbs with a solistek digital powers supply.

(replying to a thread that is older than I prolly should)

Area 51 doesn't exist. [/tinfoilhat]

I've been there. I was there. There was a bright pink light and the next thing I knew I was on a 2 lane road in the middle of no where on a skateboard. Luckily a friend drove by. He was lost too. All I could remember was a black guy in a suit rapping about his summertime.
