^^^^ dang, that's what those glasses are called. Been trying to figure that out. I know they are a cheaper alternative to method sevens..

silly question here but in all the led talks i see iv never come across what the heck we are supposed to do when the leds reach their life expectancy or start to fail. Would you send the apache fixture in for full replacement of the diodes? id assume replacing only the failed ones would be cheaper but the remaining old ones would fail at random times causing the grower one huge headache. i have been very close to getting an at600 but hadnt actually thought of this. long life of the diodes is a hugepro of led growing but if im planning to grow with them for 5-10 years this will certainly become a problem.

Depends on company but for example Area-51 has an upgrade and warranty policy. Apparently they are really easy to work on yourself too if you're interested in that sort of thing.

If you have the means to have the meds tested it would add a lot to the debate. Mad props to you GG
Second that. Just a smoke report isn't as objective as we would prefer. Not saying the tester is biased, but real measurements give better information than "I liked A better than B". May not be possible depending on legal status. EDIT: In 5 seconds I'll be subbed.

Can't even imagine being any more impressed. I'm sure that with the right plants you could pull 2 per light running hydro and adding co2. You've got your room pretty well dialed in. Thanks again for a very informative update.

Always been a big fan of the videos Mr Genes lol I am beyond jealous of the set up and your space!
Thanks bro. I get a chub on every time I walk in.

Ya it is...10:00. It may only be 4x8 worth of visual but I talk about a lot and explain...you should watch.

Thanks man, I think so too about the yield potential in the garden. I was supposed to get co2 this round, but I had to save the money. I've been growing mostly low yielding connoisseur strains(OG, purple, some testers) for the last 1-2yrs...and that strain really plays into yield the most. Big yielding genetics are a must for topping scale, no matter how good everything else is. The last run(gdp/bbk) was vegged for the same time and wasn't even half the size/bushiness. I am going to run this blue dream for a while, assuming it passes the quality(to me personally) and testing(lab, high potency only for me please) and yield(on track so far) in the end. It's the clone only and I do have a little experience with it from the past.
The room will be full next round, and will get co2 for that(yep, I'm already planning next run) so co2 won't get wasted in empty space.

So I will actually have a max yield updated ...and a garden one.

Not silly at all. When multi-spectrum diodes/emitters are used they each have a different life span.

CW/NW/WW Cobs are game changers.

First they simply DIY to where I am almost ready to try it, and due to uniform spectrum they are more efficient and will last considerably longer. You can buy bayonet mounting devices (forget the naame) then simply replace COBs as needed

That's where my money would go
