I am just about out of my GH 3 part and I am looking for a new line of nutes!

I am looking for anyone that has run the full line from MBFerts!

I will be investing quite a few bucks and would like as much feedback as I can get before spending hard earned cash!

Any info at all is appreciated!

Instead of "investing quite a few bucks" try something proven and COMPLETE. Dyna Gro.

I have tried all kinds if ferts.
I have used technaflora, GH, Dutch masters, and a few others and imvHo they don't do any better than dyna gro and in most cases the big names in canna nutes don't do as good as dyna.
If you order from them direct you can have veg and bloom nutes for around $15 delivered.

Cannabis is just a plant like any other plant. If you wouldn't "invest quite a few bucks" to grow tomatoes you don't need to do it for weed.

I just don't wanna see someone spend too much money in cannabis specific nutes when it is just not needed.

Good luck my friend.
Keep em green till the end.

Well I went to MbFerts with the intention of buying the whole nute line up!

But the store manager just had to show me the new products in stock!

Needless to say I left with no nutes and a new Ballast, double bulb reflector and some new bulbs.

I used to be a really big sunlight supply fan.
I always used Galaxy ballasts before till one burned out and I had trouble getting the warranty honored...I had a receipt form a store that was now out of business and closed but I still had to pay $50 in order to get the warranty honored.
I was in direct contact with sunlights customer service rep. myself ! The ballast was only 12-18 months old...B.S.
I was told I had to pay the store owner for handling the warranty for me.Sunlights rep. said he could charge me whatever he wanted to. What is the point of a warranty if you have to pay to have it fixed!!!It has left a bad taste in my mouth....

So making the move to Solis Tek was a no brainier for me....customer service means a ton!
I was assured this type of problem with a ballast warranty would not happen to me again as Solis Tek customer is known for great service , We will see!!!
I still am a little bitter but I am not really looking to bash anyone.

So I got the Solis Max 88
The new 2 bulb reflector is cool..... The low iron glass blocks less rays and it has chains that hold the glass for you when you change the bulbs...I really like it and it is huge I needed a reflector that covers a few more square feet too!
It is a step up from my XXXL hood!

I also got the solis tek matrix so I could run 2 600w bulbs with one ballast.
Too many features to list!
Check it out here for yourself....This thing is cool.

I will add more info when I can!

polo don gave you an excellent tip, you didn't hear what you wanted to hear and came back with the "anyone" comment? If you have to have a chart designed ONLY to promote sales of cannabis rocket fuels, I feel for you. Don't fall into their trap.

Did you pick up a book on plant nutrition, culture and such at the dro store while you were at it?

Small hoods are more efficient than large ones. I've done the research.

Hey Ben
Don's tip was simply use dyna grow.....It may well be very good advice!
May I ask you Ben ........do you use dyna gro only??

Anyway I was asking if anyone drives a ford if so how do they like it...... and his reply was don't but a ford get a chevy!
And you are right that is not what I was looking for.

I agree with you, there is a lot of hoopla out there!
And wading through it, is like walking in Mississippi mud!

I hope to make my own nutes from raw salts one day.....till then I am trying a few different profiles, trying to find one that best suits my needs and then I will do my best to mimic it.

I chose MBFerts cause they keep all the BAP,TRIA. and other hormones separate from the nute mix!
This way I can get a feel for the NPK profile without the other additives.

As far as small hoods go you may be right about the efficiency thing I will trust you judgment on the subject.
But I am lighting a 5x5 room and to do it with small reflectors I think I would need 4 reflectors and 2 ballasts with 4 bulbs, that does not account for more duct work ect.
This was a simple solution for me...... no added duct work, ballasts ect.
I am also able to mix the spectrum to meet my needs.
It very well may not be the most efficient way to light the area.
I still feel this was a good choice for my particular situation.
I am lighting the corners a little bit better now.
It is alway good to hear your opinion Ben!!!
Thank you for your time
See ya round!

I am a commercial grower and have dozens of foods. Have been recommending Dyna-Gro for many years. It is cheap, complete...a one part solution.

Outside I use Polyon food worked into the top 1" of soil. It is a 12 mo. release, 18-4-9 with micros....and no you don't need no stinkin' bloom food with it. I just water, get these nice big plants and harvest.

Right, i know its an old post but can't help myself. I too have been looking at MB-ferts for selling everything extremely cheap and pure chems. But they do not reply to my emails so i will obviously not be doing any business there.
Its worth mentioning that i am from Denmark so having dry nutes/additives is necessery for shipping fees.

THEN i would like to say Shaggy is being extremely polite to you uncleben. Idunno why you feel that you need to trash on anyone not taking the advice YOU want them to. Dude was asking about MBFerts and doesnt need any other info! All left now is for the organic growers to come in and call everyone stupid for not going organic!

Wasting money, shit even buying the WAY expensive ghe-europe watered down shit products i can get here in Denmark, nutes are a low almost un-noticable cost. Even the expensive additives don't add up to much.
Besides, while you are absolutely right the nutes are the same, one plants need vary greatly over another, hell even the different strains of each plant vary in needs, although not so greatly.

therefore its obvious in my mind that any sortof "allround" or "tomato" formulas won't be as well suited.

LIKE shaggy what i REALLY want is salts and chems i can mix up myself to my own liking! But next best thing in my mind is a formula made for to acommodate the needs of Cannabis. MB-ferts is not the option so as of iet, i am still searching :-(

I still dont know how ppl argue about nutrients and $$. No nutrients are that expensive when u look at cost input to output. Nutrients are a small fraction of any costs in a garden. I find the more money and time u spend on ur gardens the better off you are. Ive run many many of the bottled nutrients and powdered forms and I find that you get what you pay for in regards not only to quality but to yield and overall plant quality.

And i am a firm believer that anyone who bashes high priced nutrients that are MJ specific either dont have the money to pay for good quality nutrients, or they are too cheap to try them, or they dont know what they r doing and fck up feedings and get bad results and blame the nutrients for their downfalls.

Dyna-gro doesnt hold a candle to Canna, AN or H&G and if u wanna go cheap on nutrients the best bang for your buck is either Botanicare (my personal favorite) or u can go with Gen Organica 3 part w additives and amendments and it will outperform anything you get using Dyna-gro.

I know everyone on here is gonna argue but its a fact and I know for sure they have never spent the $$ on high quality nutrients but wanna argue about how they r "watered down" and "over-priced" which I have never found to be the case at all.

Maxibloom beats Dyna Gro.

Been there and done that. Unbiased facts. Tested both for many years and Maxibloom outperforms.

I have MBFerts Hormone-Vitamin Booster, Early PK, Late PK, and a few of their other things like carbs, silica, aminos, ordered. I will see how they do very soon.

I've run Canna. It's good stuff. I've used H&G good stuff. I now soley run MBFERTS. I see no advantage of running Canna nor H&G when I can see no real difference than what the MB Ferts line does for me. At a fraction of the cost. I could run those others and brag that I run them. I choose to brag about MBFERTS.

I run coco and the lineup consists of.... grow a,grow b, hormone vitamin booster, bloom a, bloom b, early pk boost, late pk boost, agsil silicone, clone feed solution ( all MBFERTS) the rest......calimagic, molasses, hygrozyme, and mycorrhizae.

Strange, they always replied to my emails.

I purchased some raw nutrient salts there (haifa, yara, dissolvine). It's one of the few places you can buy small amounts of micro nutrients online.
