anyone use induction lighting?

specifically the inda gro models. seems like they're comparable to hps in different tests i've read but it seems like more people would be using them if they really worked as well as the claims. anyone here with insight? thanks.

Thanks, definitely an interesting technology. I'm all about general sustainability and while producing your own medicine is inherently very sustainable yet the energy loads used to do so are not. I just read that Colorado is requesting additional funding to upgrade their energy infrastructure because of the amount of grows out there. Looking to benefit my health with the smallest environmental impact possible.

only benefit I can see in them is 2 lights in one click a switch for flower or for veg that is cool then again . my hortilux blue 7200 k works for all stages of flower. and those induction lights are very cool compared to other lighting . the light is more of a higher quality then mh and hps on the data charts. but for the cost It is not worth it yet to me. but in a closet grow that light would be bad as super cold . and massive yields . if I only needed 1 or 2 I would buy the in a second . just not practical in my app . but they may be bad ass for personal closet grows. im waiting for the price of plasma lights to drop so I can get 1 or 5 in my veg. those are bad as for veg only .

ya plasma seems like an up and coming technology for sure. from what i've read led keeps progressing at a rate that makes buying them pointless since there is a bigger better model put out a couple times a year. just as you mentioned i'm looking to go with a small efficient space and i think induction will be the way to go.

I agree with llr. Htgsupply has an interesting 400watt model. Their stuff has aways been reliable.
