Hello everyone! Its been a long while, but im finally back and growing again! Super excited! I got a freebie and its called "Delicious Candy" Made by Delicious Seeds, and i really cant find much info on it at all. Has anyone had any experience with this strain? Do you think it might be a good one from what they described below?

Here is some info from the website

"To develop Delicious Candy, we crossed two of the best commercial genetics: Cheese, a unique female derived from SKUNK x KUSH which first appeared 1988-89 and which was cultivated somewhere in the Chiltern Hills by the squatter collective known as Exodus that was central to UK cannabis-related activity throughout the 90s. Its other parent is our own Caramelo, which is a spectacular selection of the best exotic LAVENDER Indica and Sativa phenotypes (SUPER SKUNK – BIG SKUNK KOREAN – AFGHANI-HAWAIIAN)."

Thanks,
Chris

As far as I know uk cheese is actually one of twelve seeds popped from a pack of skunk number 1 seeds that a uk growers purchased from Amsterdam back in the 80s or 90s I’m not sure when but all I know is that someone at some point managed to spot how special this phenotype was and keep it going for many years. The taste is so unique the smell blows your cover so bad you can’t contain it nothing else comes close. It’s been mass produced where I’m from so regular smokers can’t teally see the importance and sometimes growing technique comes into play as to why they don’t all love it, so as a grower I can only say that one day I would love to find a pheno that compares to her she is resilient to stress of all kinds you just can’t seem to get rid of that flavour no matter what you do. A lot of seed company’s that manage to get hold of an exo cut will put her into there beans without a doubt. I have had 25 other strains in a room and 5 exo cheese and all you can smell is that cheddar shining through so if you got them genetics in your plant then you know that your getting some flavour, Evan cheese crosses are dominated by that flavour it shines through in my experience

i grew candy but gave it away as i had to go to the other side of the country for a few weeks. my friend finished it early and said it was real tasty but not that potent.
Yeah compared to newer genetics the cheese isn’t considered strong but when they get that mix right like dna genetics crossed a uk cheese cut with there og kush she took on the power and that taste of our cheese it’s amazing

I grew Sugar Black Rose and it was fire. I have one seed of delicious candy that i'll probably pop in a couple of grows. Let us know how it goes. Someone said (maybe IG?) that it didn't even smell like herb. Said it was amazing
