Anyone run filters on floor?

I know that the best way to mount any filter is high and out of the way, but my grow room doesnt have room for that...

For those that have little cieling space like me, has anyone ran thier filters on the floor? I have a Can 75 filter with a 750 cfm fan and am wondering if I can just run it off the floor? (standing up, with fan on top, pulling air through the filter out the ducting out of the room).

PS-I have a 10x10 room, sectioned off into a 7x3.5' flowering room and a 2x4' veg room, two 600w's in the flowering room, and the filter needs to be in the flowering room too...so I was thinking of making the flowering room a bit bigger to hold that filter on the floor....

Hell ya. Thats what we call an air scrubber. You should still do something on the exhaust outlet for odors outside of the room or structure.

But the air scrubber will work well too. I had a carbon filter in the corner as an air scrubber for a while till I set-up all my filtration in the attic above the rooms.
