Sorry to ask this here but this is a strain specific question. It seems I am having very bad problems with these 2 strains from this breeder. I am currently growing these 2 strains plus G13 Labs Pineapple Express and UK Cheese. I also have some RP OG #18 and Larry OG's in there. I am NOT a new grower.
The strains from Female Seeds are having very bad heat exhaustion problems. At first the whole tent had problems. I was using the Ultra Sun 400 watt 7500 k bulbs (to save some money) and they were burning everything even with the temps under 85 degrees. I changed them out with the Hortilux 400 watt bulbs and moved the hoods up 12 inches.
Two weeks later and all the other plants are looking fine except the strains from Female Seeds. They looked great for a week but then the newer leaves started to curl up again. I'm thinking this has to be strain related because the other girls are doing fine.
Daytime temps are running between 80 to 82 with 50% humidity. Nighttime temps are between 77 and 79 with 50% humidity. Air circulation is great. No signs of nutrient problems. I'm pretty much stumped here and if no one knows of this problem I may try to get in touch with the breeder to see if they have heard of this before.
I can't get the temps any lower than what they are. It is what it is. I'm just trying to keep them alive long enough to get them in the flower room where it is a bit cooler. But if the big fan leaves are in bad shape when I put them in the flower room the buds will grow like shit. Thanks for any help.
