since i know DWC is a fast way to grow and i want to harvest fast as possible i was planning on growing the ak auto flowers which i hear a 8-10 weeks from seed to harvest so i thought dwc would get more than the average harvest for these strains with its growing boost

has anyone ever tryed growing an auto flower in DWC before? what were the results like compared to soil

yes it will grow much better but not so much faster since the auto-flowering strain has pretty much a predetermined life span so it pretty much is gonna take 8-10 weeks but your results will be much better i would strongly recommend doing them in dwc over anything else

I understand that individual DWC's are very good when dealing with auto's. I've got a individual DWC setup for my Auto Blueberry that i intend on growing sometime soon. :>

I look forward to following the grow!

In terms of a comparison; I am growing the same strain now, one in soil the other in an AeroGarden, ( Which is currently just a place for my AirStones, roots and water to reside). The one in the AeroGarden is substantially larger then the one in soil, which is older.

Good luck!

i am just finishing up an mi5 auto,, 2 of 1 is 3 1/2 ft tall an wide the other is shorter but just as bushy,, i would advise giving it a go, i used to grow in pots and to get an auto this size jus wasnt gunna happen, i reckon easy 2oz per plant for harvest,, buds are huge an plentiful. as big as my regular plants after a 4 week veg and 9 week flower cycle so save yaself 3 weeks an go for it..... the other advantage is that if u use seperate buckets its easy to have a continuos harvest, as light cycle can stay the same, jus germ every week or 2.. i tried it in a big res with 6 plants but they grew so viscious that the 2 weeks gap was jus too much an they got crowded out..
