1, Silica/water - my former guru recommended it and also said good to toughen em up for bugs.

2. Cal Mag - the bottle says you can foliar spray

3. Liquid Kelp - I heard this is good for everything including bugs. If so what brand?

4. Anything else?

Thanks.

I use a squirt of Botanicare pro blend for soil, with a spot of soap and water in veg a couple times, mostly for
young newly transplanted clones and seedlings.

Used so many things as folier feed, even if it doesnt say you can on the bottle. Just use at 1/10th rate.

I was never a fan of silica so i never sprayed with it i dont think. Tried it for a few runs an couldnt see a diff. But loads of people an friends swear by it i know..

I have foliar sprayed silica because it was a buggar to dissolve with other nutrients.
Also with kelp, I don't think the brand makes a difference as long as it is kelp and not plant food with kelp extract.
As for Cal Mag, i have used that as foliar but I believe the reason why you shouldn't is due to the mix of cal and mag having to be nitrates to be in the same bottle. It should be ok to foliar as long as its not done to often so you don't use to much nitrogen on them.

Jack's classic blossom booster 10/30/20 at 1/5th strength ones a week before flipping to 12/12. I keep salts away from my soil, only fish emulsion, fulvic, humic and molasses goes to the pot.

Calmag has nitrates so it's not a good idea to foilar feed with.
I've recently had success foliar feeding with Cytoplus by bioag. It is a combination of kelp extract, humic acid and folic acid. It really helps boost nutrient uptake, and I'm pretty sure kelp extract also promotes secondary shoot growth for side branching
I also Foliar with humic/fulvic and kelp. I highly highly reccomend a product called Dirt M.D. its new to california and its out of india...it is humic/fulvic with built in surfactant....and its dirt cheap...www.dirtmd.com

fyi i have ZERO affiliation with them...

I have yet to find a kelp I am 100% on...any reccomendations>?

I like Nitrozime. Its expensive....but its loaded with hormones and a tsp a quart spray bottle once a week in veg. A quart size bottle will last me at least a year. I mix ot with a tsp of Fossil Fuel or BioAg Fulpower with a little bit of yucca. Explosive bushy veg growth. Warning....if you have naturally short growing indicas...this spray regimen will make them EXTREMELY short and bushy. Almost too compact before the flip. But for lanky og based gear and sativa hybrids that grow super fast and wirey...this stuff is awesome.
