theoretically .with how the laws are going right now...
..An MMAR person can grow...make edibles and SELL IT TO OTHER patients :) Legally!!!!
They are no different than a D or CC in a grey area and are even BETTER OFF LEGALLY due to being an MMAR individual.

These are awesome fucking times I say

ohhh boy you guys fucking kill me.
now dizzy were the fuck do I say any of what you just stated I saidÉ in that postÉ
and no I just said tilray didn't make 450mill last yr, they might have made 450k! then I just noted they borrowed 75 mill to cover shit. and they only made 48 mill last yr!
no were do I say they sell out the back door, ive always said they wouldn't, (get ur facts right) then I said I cant believe my contact said they were in the past selling out the back door!
and again retard, I never said they would make more $ selling for 5 than12$!
I think if they cant sell 12 $ weed to the broke patients, then maybe (imo) they would at least make 1 mill to others at 5g bulk sales.
but honestly if you pay attention to me, ive sworn most lps cant or wouldn't risk selling out the back door.
now asshole! before you call people morons, like gman dose. get facts and not shit ive said or clearly say that I have said shit! you bakers read shit then twist it all up in your fucked up minds and spit shit back out!
Reality is they probably would make more money selling @ $5 than $12. But they apparently don't know or understand the supply and demand curve, nor do they understand the costs associated with sitting on large amounts of inventory.

Folks look at things in a vacuum. Doesn't work like that. If no one is buying @ 12 bucks, they will surely make more @ 5 where they will have people making purchases. And much more quickly, allowing them to not wind up sitting on product they cannot move (which costs every single day it sits there... interest is accruing on loans they need to repay).

Well, this is assuming 5 bucks a gram is profitable for them. I'm sure it is. We all know it is. But yeah. There are also opportunity costs with that much cash tied up in product that isn't moved as well. They're basically banking on gaining a complete monopoly if they expect their current prices to be competitive. It's fucked IMO.

But this is how every industry operates on some level. They do whatever they can get away with. In this case, they can get away with a lot because of all the BS surrounding this plant. And even those who support the plant will put up with it because of all that prior BS which is worse than the new heaping pile of shit they want to throw on you.

It makes me sick to my stomach.

So many people want regulations, they beg for them. But they don't really know what they're asking for. Regulatory bodies essentially write law sans parliament. And they typically write it to benefit interest groups rather than the general population. It was years ago when they started to allow Aspartame to be sold in Canada and the scientists who worked for our regulators actually got on stand and testified they were mystified that this was happening as it was a known carcinogen. Bam, happened anyway. It was a pretty telling testimony as he was simply baffled. You could see his world being shattered. Clearly he believed in this process like many folks who believe in governments ability to protect us do. He left realizing that what was actually happening was nothing of the sort.

And honestly, it's predictable. I'm not a pie in the sky utopian, but it's so incredibly rare I see policy that doesn't have some obvious power grab attached to it that I'm pretty much done even voting at this point. I don't think any of these clowns will really do what's right for the country and it's people.

its the court and the constitution that will be our saving grace.....business is always profit driven....the more people involved... ie publicly traded companies....the more profit required to feed the beast....
a caring government...would have taken a different approach and maybe used many smaller growers instead of a few larger players....

The weed doesn't matter....it's all about investors and share values.
Perception is the key.
Layoffs is a strategic move...wait to you see what they do next, it won't be closing the doors!
