Any seeds/strains 45 days or less flowering? Online seed companies that ship to Colo?

Texada Timewarp. Got a clone from a buddy, that pheno finished in 48 days.

Ran Ch9 Jack from seed that finished in 50.

I wasn't saying your plants were not ready. I complimented you on your bud. I hope you didn't take my post as something negative towards your nice looking harvest.
I made my post and posted a picture of my current grow for others that think that the pistils turning orange is a sign that it's time to harvest. Mine isn't ready even though it looks done to the naked eye. I don't know what your plants look like through a scope.
Anyway, your buds look awesome. I wish I could load some of that up in my pipe and smoke some. My post wasn't intended to be negative towards your harvest in any way.

Happy growing.
I didn't think you were saying the weren't ready bud. No worries . I was just simply describing the trichromes at day of harvest for an idea for how far along it was

It will be hard to find something potent and flavorable because those shirt flowering times have been developed for commercial growers. Meaning that a lot of the strains you see as fast times tend to exhibit commercial growers desires not personal grower.

Example:

Commercial grower- main goal is short flowering time, then large yields. Taste, flavor all come in Third and fourth

Personal Grower- Main goal taste, second potency, third yield

My advice, buy 30-40 regular seeds of something that has a short flowering time, (not an auto) and phenohunt the one with the shortest flowering time. I have a Sunset Sherbet cut that is done between 42-49 days. Most usually go 56 days or more
I had a beautiful outdoor sunset sherbert that I picked up as a cut from a dispensary here in oregon. I couldn't believe the root structure . Each time I transplanted within 4 weeks roots were surfacing and crossing over the top layer of soil . It grew fast and unbelievably healthy. I ran out of luck during our outdoor flowering season. Thick haze from forest fires shaded the sun for the last 2 weeks of dry weather then rain came in early and hard on top of that....so dissapointed it didn't get time to finish.....how did your cut turn out??received_1642600162417976.jpeg received_1642600175751308.jpeg

Something grinding your gears Doc lol
Damn - between this thread and the one by the 30 year old guy trying to hit on his sister 20 year old girlfriend (tote and talk forum), I seem to be attracting a lot of Buzz Killingtons plus some helpful homies.

Well I guess, if you haven't known since the first week of being a member here, that "well known" does not correlate with "well versed", and only based on thread count. Perhaps there should be a "knows his shit" title lol. It's amazing how you can become an armchair expert with google lol. This is not directed at u mmj FYI just a general statement.

Sorry man, that sucks about the fires and the haze. Mother Nature can be fickle. She turned out very nicely, I didn't keep her because she didn't wow me enough. Great bud structure, very unique smell- was almost a sweet earl grey smell to her with some creamy notes. Very fast finisher. Lot of my friends liked her- I will take that back- all my friends like her. I just wouldn't want to smoke 2 ozs of if straight. Which is what I do, since i grow for personal use only.

I have some YouTube videos and a thread here on the forum detailing the grow if you want to check it out

I hate this idea, and this advice to new growers...

"Buy a shit ton, grow them all out, and then you can select the best one!" They leave out the fact that you only want to grow one or two plants, and that even after you selected Mr. PerfectBud...... then what? Hop in your time machine and go back so you can clone it while its in veg? Go back in time again and you can even breed it!

No time machine? No commercial sized grow operation?

Maybe phenohunting is something to leave for another day....

It's just a path, there are many that all lead to the same place. Some take longer, some are shorter, some have better results.

When you pop seeds you don't have to do a large quantity. I had a small grow so I did 3 at a time.

1.Pop three seeds, get them going,

2. before going into flower each plant 3 times for A total of 9 cuts.

3. Two weeks from the cut and putting them into flower you will know if they are male of female. Toss the males and all the clones from the males.

4. Grow out the remainder of the females. Keep 1 clone of each pheno you have left to keep the cycle going

5. Once you done flowering you can A. Decide flower one of the moms you have or B. If you didn't like what you got you can pop 3 more seeds and return to step 1.

You can pop and flower out a pack of 10 seeds in 11 months. That doesn't seem like to much time to find your own pheno, while learning as you go.

I feel the idea of looking for fast running plant strains, is simply saying that you want short cuts.
Problem being. Most strains run longer then they are listed to (To get near the plants potentials).

When one ask's (here) for fast running strains. It says "inexperienced" to "me."

There are some, limited amount of quick running strains. Not the best either. Of course then you have claims by some of stupid short run times (can you say Pit Bull?). That didn't turn out to be a true claim in that example..
You also have to remember that environment effects all that. Environmental variations, change everything.......This is very important to end results. In all ways measured.

ECSD is a fast vegging strain, with + rep quality. I'll venture out an say. You'll most likely do better with a fast vegging plant. Of course, some of those make up the difference in being longer bloomers.

To me, I feel it basically balance's out.....There are some but, I'll stick with higher quality strains......

I grow for results, not speed.....No plant is really done, before it's DONE.

Then you have the people with their heads up their ass. This is not directed at u mmj FYI just a general statement.

Dude - you are appreciated. You help a lot of people here on the forums with great advice.
All the time with really good stuff about nutes, bugs, etc. You always offer people help with solid info.

My post was just wondering if there were any fast strains that people liked. One thing that is mind boggling to me is the endless new strains.

Solid advice and a great suggestion. An old timer told me something similar. Always looking for the perfect one in the bunch to clone.
