Your knowledge on Bluetooth is impressive. I am surprised BT Mesh is moving along so quickly for a spec first finalized mid 2017.

This is a joke of a thread already. I’m sorry OP. It had potential. So many assumptions and inccorest assertions. If someone doesn’t know about it...they don’t have to chime in with assumptions. It’s ok to just sit back.

I’ll be going over them further soon on my channel.
I just had a meeting with the lead designer from ERP and have some further improvements coming to really polish it off. All this on drivers that are just coming out, so give them a little time for the pdb and cdb to roll out. But are also just building off past models so not sure what all this huss is about.

As for the blue tooth. It is a AVI-on chip and has an app ready. A paid version will get sunrise sunset. But basic dining and timers are free. AVI-on has a bridge to link to a WiFi router and communicate globally. Prices are similar to meanwell 240’s for the 260PDB’s(programable) and about a 18-20$ upcharde for the 260CDB’s(programable+communication)
I am working with ERP and AVI-on to develop a horticulture specific app down the road too.
It is also possible to put pretty much any Bluetooth module into the driver in replacement of the AVI-on. This is not a standard ordereable option, but for large orders and companies doing proprietary apps, it’s all fair game and ERP will work with them.

Seeing you know so much how is it the output of a driver looks like this?

It appears to me the switching frequency shows at the output of the driver and in the LED string.

What am I missing. You said it would be smooth.

i beleave the difference between dimming and just changing the ma is that dimming is like a resister and waists wattage . Everything your wanting/thinking the about CDB...is there from my short time with it. the 1700-210 is pretty catch all for COB's or any thing really. But really good with the vero c's and b's like your planning. For testing we have been running 4 vero 29B 50v off one and another running 4 cxb 36v just different programs, both using up the drivers nicely. Very versatile, and a nice slim form factor.
The app's slider is not very linear, ramp up is pretty good though. But he 0-10v is also not linear so to be expected. That's the down side for me, and a small one that can be changed if we bug enough. All and all is really good. I liked their slim line last year too, but the 260w was a really nice addition. I told them a ~330w would really seal the deal for their catalog, but don't think that is going to happen this time.

EDIT:
A linear dimming profile is an option.

Meanwell 3 in 1 dimming is via Constant Current Regulation which reduces the amplitude of the current.
It does not have a PWM style output.

Perhaps @Greengenes707 can find out what style of dimming the ERP drivers use.

do you know if they will give out any api or info on commands to give the zigbee/ bluetooth to adjust the ma etc i would like to use node red perhapes to create a interface also so i can add lighting controls to a nodered hydroponics project im working on

Digikey is free shipping.I dont think they are even released yet. Thats 14 so far only 11 to go then.

Do they do a CV version with the same features .Only 260w CV erp driver on digikey is

With respect to dimming I can assure you that ERP dimmers on the secondary side use primarly 0-10v and also many of their drivers couple that with primary side dimming ie phase cut and triac. Re the internals to create the dimming I dont have a internal block diag to break that down. The control of the dimming with Bluetooth/Dali etc on the newer C models I will get more details on that and let you know
