Any one Growing in a Rental?

I live in a rental, I went through a property management compony. They dont own the house im in, they just manage a handful of properties for people.

My problem is on the lease that i signed it states the the tenet shall not manufacture drugs. Growing weed is just that in the legal system. I am a legal grower though.

From what i hear it is the owners choice if he wants to kick us out on our ass or not. Or is it the management compony?

Nether of them know at this point its just they do this "check" 3mo after you move in. thats around Christmas for us, and my grow set up is pretty elaborate and will be a PAIN IN THE ASS! to tear down just for a 10min walk through.

Please help.

Plus im growing this cheese strain that after 10 weeks flowering still isnt done! if this strain would finish up before they show up with time left for me to at least dry it before my curing process this wouldn't be so bad.

So maybe how do i speed up maturing, ive heard longer night period 14/10.

And does any one know anything about our right to grow in a rental.
 
Sorry about your situation, bro. Here's what I know (I own rentals). The property management will tell you "no growing on property", and I'm 50/50 about whether they would kick you out. While they could just tell you to take it down, I would plan for the worst and figure they are going to evict you, which is what we are trying to avoid. You could fight with them, and you could contact the actual owner, but once again, he or she would probably do whatever the management company said. Switching to a longer night might work (I have never done it) but best case scenario with so little time left, it only might shave a day or two from your finish time. Do you know any other legal growers that you can take you plants to? That would be the best solution. I wish you the best, my friend, and hope it works out:)

Thanks for the help bro, im buddies with a dude at the clinic and that my be a possibility as i was going to donate a plant for his classes any ways. So im still sittn on the fence with this, i am just going to tear everything down when they give us the 24hr notice, and stash my vegging plants in the back of my jeep, ( i have 15% tint so it will work ) and just set back up once there done 'cause they will never come for a check again. Thank you all, and im still open for suggestions.
 
. . . and every apartment has one room that is walled off to have a small veg room and a bigger flower room, with good ceilings for easy hanging of your lights. Also built in exhaust duct work. Just bring your equipment, hang and walk away! no construction needed!

haha that would be sick to rent apartments for growing, kinda like renting a recording studio for music, just pay a monthly fee or something and when your done renting you jus clean up and leave. Honestly with legalizing marj there would be a million new options for jobs, and bussiness's. it would certainly employee more people and get the economy going again. But back to your situation, couldnt you just take the entire unit your growing in and place it in your back yard or something, or just store the plants in the woods or something... yes they wouldnt have light or anything for a day but you could still manage to keep them alive and you would keep your place

Making you light schedule a longer night time will help flowers Finnish faster but can decrease yields.

i'm in almost the exact same situation, except our inspections are once a year.

they came by this year in the middle of summer with my greenhouse and other stuff in full swing. i rented a u-haul truck the morning of the inspection, loaded up everything i could (including gear) and parked the truck in a nearby parking lot. i waited until well after the inspection was over to bring the truck back and unload it just in case the property management group was in the neighborhood later on that day.

i didn't take down my setups (which are in a series of cabinets in my garage) but i did go get a whole bunch of boxes and stacked them all on top of and around the grow cabinets. i also took a whole bunch of leftover lumber i had and stacked it in front of all the spaces and took my power tools out and left them in the middle of the garage.

the greenhouse i simply closed off and prayed that they would not ask to go in there. they noticed it, but i quickly distracted them with my cute ass chickens and ducks and they moved on.

I think im going to do this, my BIG crop will be done here soon, the crop right after that one is just a litter of clones, and a bunch of 'em so ill give those more dark. Thank you bro.

Yep im going to break down the tents and lean them against the wall and stack everything in front of them. Funny enough i thought about renting a u-haul and doing what you said, now i know some one else thought it, did it, and got a way wit it im going to do it.

my landlord is agenst all drugs.. when i moved in i was not legal. when i did i asked him in the way of how does he feel about medical marijuana and he said if i had my papers then its just medication.. do what i did and ask be4 he finds out the hard way and the he really hammers your ass.. remember closed mouths don't get feed..

Thats sketchy business! Id rather make my grow disappear ( and i will ) then give any one any more power over me then the dude already has.

Most likely it would just be a "Please remove this equipment" so long your paperwork is in order with a warning of eviction if it wasn't removed but worse case scenario is that it's probably stated in your lease that they can evict you if drugs are manufactured or sold from the property you will be evicted, because property management companies usually have "National rules" and don't give a shit what the state law is (My mother in-law worked for a Property Management Co. for years). Unfortunately that is the landlords right weather we like it or not.


Now if you are renting from a individual then you may have to opportunity to discuss your options with your landlord.

my place is ommp friendly but i cant grow just yet

Maybe have a friend call the company in question as a potential tenant. He could ask about being a legal ommp patient and if they are ok with that,just a thought

You're right, hit every nail on the head. So.. i broke them down, put all 20 plants in boxes, taped 'em shut and just made it all disappear. Im currently, right now, this second waiting for them to come and do this fuckn inspection i got the day off for this.

I did this, and they said they have had people inquire about legal grows but no one has ever been allowed. Because who wants to rent to drugged out druggies grown drugs... mmmkay
